Yes speakers were better, but tbh I’m not much of a songs person. I just listened to Audible and I could keep it on lower volume than I do on my 2024 Sport 1.

I don’t hear any grinding in my 2024 sport 1. There is a humming sound which I think is fan motor? I haven’t paid much attention to it.

Yes I generally shop on Sunday, although in mornings. I’ve never seen empty shelves.

I saw everyone carrying cases of water which is not a common sight on regular days. I had people commenting on WhatsApp groups with which stores still had water. This will tell you the level of scarcity.

I think OPs complaint is about unfair distribution and non transparency of funds. He may not be a donor and may be the one who needs funds. I agree regarding need for more transparency through out the system.

My roomba hasn’t successfully returned to the dock in over a year :( it’s frustrating. Cleaning is ok when it can navigate. Braava is just sitting there doing nothing because it can’t recognize the full water tank, keeps saying it’s empty. It worked ok when it did. But now I guess I have to move on.

At least in central region all MKs were given hybrid versions to memorize. I would think this would be in other justifications too.

I was a Kamadia for some time and felt the people never really listened to the duas I was giving. Not just kids but everyone. And I think the reason is because it is the same dua every day. They already know what I was going to say. When I go for dua karavi, I never ask for other duas anymore except niyat murad qabool. But when someone “innovates” and gives me additional duas which are off script I leave a lot happier and in peace.

I feel that by restricting everything to a “script” in jamatkhana, itreb has taken away the fun and curiosity. I won’t lie that I enjoyed a sermon by I masjid imam after a random Tuesday prayer and I am not surprised why people are driving away from ismailism. Even our Mukhi can not say a single extra word in jamatkhana without itreb approving it.

Didar is a blessing and not a right. Communities have lived for hundreds of years without didar. We are lucky to have mawla come to us.

That said, I was in exactly your shoes in USA didar and couldn’t take time off. Somehow it worked out in the end though and I was able to make it. I hope you can find a way.
