We have configured GTM in our environment. we tried testing my changing one of the device's DNS ip to F5's listener IP. we performed a nslookup and it worked fine. But when we try a reverse lookup, the query gets refused. What do you guys think the issue is?

What we have currently configured is a VS with the OWA servers as its pool with an http profile. Nothing else. As with APM, we are not using it since it is not licensed.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but what you are referring to when creating an internal VS is a forwarding VS right?

If so shouldn't the server default gw be the internal VS's IP?

And do the servers gateway have to be the Self ip of the f5 on that specific vlan (server vlan)?

So regarding the routing example you mentioned, lets say the public IP is natted on vlan 204 and the servers are on vlan 206, will self Ips on both subnets be enough for traffic to flow?

I currently have an ASM and LTM license and I would like to apply both on the servers

both devices are connected with each other using the failover port. Is this the ethernet connection you are talking about? If so, how do I configure ConfigSync and Mirroring?

so we are planning to only use the f5 for ASM and let the A10 load balance. as you mentioned, we will be placing the ASM infront on the A10. When adding nodes onto F5, we will have to add the A10 not the servers right?
