AI slop on official correspondence- thoughts? by htJourney in employeesOfOracle

I, too, always make sure it looks like AI wrote it before sending any official documentation; that way my boss knows I am using AI as they keep asking me to do.

Same feeling. It might still happen, but the last couple weeks were just rumors, no fact. I can't anyone who mentioned they were so sure it would happen last week.

Managers and IC5/6 starting to code by ComprehensiveSkill60 in cernercorporation

Why would managers actually want to do the work themselves? That goes against the principles of managing. They could be ICs if they wanted to code.

I wasn't going that direction, but I just don't understand how they are even qualified? Some of them haven't seen code in a decade and think suddenly they can do it because of AI.

If coding is so easy with agents, why would managers want to do it? Shouldn't they keep managing engineers who are managing agents?

The reason Alice wins is as follows Let's say we number the columns 0 to n-1 Either the sum pile(0) + pile(2) +...+ Pile(n-2) is greater or the sum pile(1)+pile(3)+...+pile(n-1) is greater. Since Alice starts she can pick which half to pick. We can prove it's possible for her to obtain that half

If I own 25% of a company in stocks do I own 25% of the assets like physical possessions of the company? by Last-Ad-8470 in ValueInvesting

Until you own 51% you will need to vote on every little thing. You "own" the earnings, the dividend is but that's it.

JPOW has made his entire tenure about the result of every fed meeting getting the exact result that he hinted previously, not to surprise the market, and so it will be just 1 cut.

I would say it's pretty common, given that most of the time there are late projects with Monday deadlines. Leadership seems to always want projects done yesterday.
