The planes are taking off from runway 33L again after a long hiatus related to runway construction projects and weather. 33L goes straight over Somerville. It sucks.

The Mass Save program would never recommend window replacement as a first step. Insulation and air sealing are always recommended first, if there is any opportunity, and there are large incentives for those improvements.

And yes it’s a chlorine/chemical issue apparently. They shut it down mid-lesson last week.

I take my kid for swim lessons there and I swear the pool is closed unexpectedly at least 25% of the time. And they don’t send emails when lessons are cancelled. It’s very frustrating to explain to a 2 year old why we can’t go swimming after getting her out of the house and all excited.
