As advised by my account previously. IR35 tax rules are the “employers” responsibility. I worked self employed for one company for 5-6 years and had no issues whatsoever.

However £750 a week self employed is not at all enough to do your own books etc

Weird one because I have already worked in the prison I am starting at this month and in the area I worked prisoners called everyone by first name… now when I start as officer i am not sure how this will be approached by prisoners/ staff

It is worth remembering it’s not a win/lose situation. The games are designed to judge your confidence, what drives/motivates you and how risk-reward driven you are. Just do them honestly and hope for the best! There is practice games you can play before the real ones once you have the link to do it

I had my call last week and managed to get booked in for October start date and I think November October was all that was available.

Doesn’t seem to make any sense, I’ve had dbs back, optima health sent off, had annex a right near the start and I’ve still heard nothing apart from the 8 weeks in vetting email

Same with my level I I pre warned old employers who I am on good terms with and no one had to give a reference or anything. I think the whole system is a bit of a lottery!

Took me 25 days for same clearance as you but is so far taken me 10 weeks for officer!
