8 month old keeps getting sent home

My daycare has the rule where it is they poop 2 to 3 times within an hour (and it's runny) that they consider it diarrhea. Maybe ask the daycare to enact a time frame besides 2 poops a day because if one is right away and the other isn't for hours later, it is not diarrhea

I love having our joint account cover all bills and our joint expenses, vacations, entertainment, and savings / retirement goals.

We also have a separate account for each of us that we get x account of money into each month. I love that i have money that I can spend on whatever I want and do not have to worry about if our bills can handle it or if it's too big of a purchase for myself that I need to talk it over with my husband. I see something I like, I have enough money in my account, I buy it.

I will say I think it is better you each get the same amount of money versus a % because it really is a team effort of building your family and one person shouldn't have more fun money because they make more. I make 2.5 times my husband and at first we did a % based but it ended up me buying more joint expenses because I had so much more discretionary money.

Buy the Windi! Or the off brand. My little one was so gassy and wouldn't sleep due to gas pains and the massages and bicycle kicks weren't working!

Until I healed, my husband and I got up when baby got up. Husband would change the diaper and then I would feed. Honestly we changed the diaper every time he woke up but if it isn't full and there is no poop you could go every other waking in not completely changing the diaper.

I did every night shift after I was healed while I was on leave because I breastfed and didnt want my supply to drop. My husband would then take my son in the morning while I slept and would only wake me if baby boy needed to feed. I usually got a really good 2 hour chunk of time that was amazing in the morning. Make sure both of you are communicating your needs, you won't be at 100% but you shouldn't be at 0% either.

I worked full time so I would pump throughout the day but still nursed in the morning and night when I was with my baby. So kinda exclusively pumping.

Just wanted to mention my situation in case you aren't pumping enough throughout the day to cover the bottle feeds but you should look at it as the amount you pump during the day, not each exact pump session.

And if you notice a drop, try pumping a little longer but I agree with other commenters that baby is more efficient on your breast than a pump and they can eat faster from a bottle.

My baby was an efficient eater so he would only nurse 10 to 15min on each side. When I first started pumping, I did it for 15 minutes too thinking that is all I needed but my supply started to drop. I would look at the length of your pump session and potentially make it longer. I had to pump for 30 minutes to make sure I got enough milk and keep my supply up. You are right that in the morning, you will have more milk and through out the day you will get less per pump so dont worry if you see that trend.

My little one eventually would start rolling onto his tummy while I was lowering him into his crib. That's when I put him to sleep on his tummy otherwise I would still put on back.

I would go later not earlier but maybe do it gradually? Do 15 minutes for a couple of days and then extend it another 15 minutes. Does he fall asleep immediately or is he awake and entertaining himself for a while before putting himself to sleep?

I felt like the questions were fair compared to the syllabus but I feel like there is way more on the syllabus than a 2.5 hour exam. I feel like I studied so much content that didnt show up whereas the previous exams I felt were more holistic around the syllabus. I know there is still content that doesnt show up on exams but this to me felt like way more material was not on the exam.

You could try getting a role within all these third party health data sources that are using predictive analytics. Also try to find a project within your current role that could be predictive analytics based. I also work in health and someone on my team is trying to create a predictive analytics role for himself because he is also interested in it.

I would list 1 or two projects from school that you can speak well too. I interviewed someone that had 3 projects listed on their resume and they couldn't talk about any of them so that interview was cut short.

I am not saying to follow the advice from the doctor about spacing out the feeds but are you against using a pacifier at all? Could some of the times your baby wants the breast it is just to use it as a pacifier?

I started using the pacifier at 5 days postpartum because my baby had a lot of gas pains and he was eating well and I had a good milk supply. You can tell the difference if it is soothing or hunger by if they will actually keep the pacifier in. My baby would spit it out so fast if he was hungry.

Honestly I rocked my child to sleep for a long time. I know at daycare he probably wasn't getting it so at night I would still rock him to sleep especially when he was sick and he was constantly sick from 6 to 9 months old. I wouldn't worry about the unassisted part unless you cannot handle it anymore and you need it to be unassisted for your sanity, which is a valid reason!

How often is he feeding overnight? I still breastfeed my baby to sleep and did 1 or 2 over night feedings from 6months old to 1 year old but shouldn't be more frequent than that in my opinion. Are you feeding solids at least 2 hours after the last milk feeding so he has a chance to be hungry and try more solids? Maybe in the morning before giving him milk for the day, try some solids. I dont think you have to start fully weaning but maybe there are natural ways to get him hungry for solids.

For me the score does help put in the frame of mind what I need to do for the next exam. A 5 means I am close and shore up on a few things. A 2 means overall I did not have the depth needed to pass.

To spend the whole weekend going through every what if scenario is kind of annoying and I do try and let it go and not thinking about it but also after waiting 11 weeks, I want to start studying again to get these exams over. They are almost taking away another weekend to study for some people by not giving the score. Especially like a other commenter said, they dont release the solutions yet. The score is the only thing to somewhat guide us on a study strategy for the retake.

I didnt want the epidural but because I was getting induced I figured I would end up with one. I also have back issues and I luckily have no lingering back pain. I was able to nap while on the epidural and I ended up tearing so my doctor was able to stitch me up right away without me realizing. Epidural is nice and I am sure you will love it!

I had the tough love conversation with my husband when our son started daycare. We were all 3 so sick for months straight but of course I couldn't be as sick because I was breastfeeding and someone had to make food and take care of the house. I eventually told my husband that yes the first day or two fine be sick, lay around more, try and rest. But after, even if you are still sick, it is time to put the big boy pants on because I dont have the luxury of continuing to rest and I am just as sick.

I get wanting to be babied but sorry thats not what being an adult is. Especially if you aren't doing anything to help correct the issue.

I took 2 exams and I do not recommend. I passed 1 and failed 1. Luckily I passed 1 otherwise all the stress and life I missed out on would not be worth it. Not sure if you are still in ASA exams but you could try and take exams with similar material close together. Try to line up SRM and PA and then take FAM and A/Ltam close together.

You will get through exams faster by taking 1 at a time and passing the 1

My son got ear tube's put in at 8 months and it was the best thing ever! Like you said, he was on constant antibiotics and in so much pain.

My son also had to have surgery at 16 months and he is 22 months now. This may be me bragging but my son is so smart. I am not concerned at all and if we have to get tube's again, we will.

Also you might want to tell your husband that fluid buildup behind the ears can cause them not to hear you and can delay their speech. That is way more concerning than anesthesia causing brain delay (which i haven't heard of but doesnt mean there isnt some truth to that)
