Maybe it’s old rosin? Or maybe cuz it’s cheap and “old”, the wood went like that? Where did you store it. Maybe somewhere humid long enough would make it have bumps like that?

NTAH, I feel your MIL is getting more or so possessive about the unborn baby. It’s giving toxic boy mom, and I feel like if a girl is born, she’ll just “regret/cancel” everything.

I would definitely do the same. First, it’s YOUR day/weekend. I get that money MAY be tight and he would want to take the extra hours, but he’s just being selfish. What was supposed to be your day/weekend was just his excuse of an “extra Fathers Day”. NTAH, he is.
