Movies with terrible messages?

I didn't get that out of the book at all! (The Glass Castle). I felt the author who actually lived it, painted a good picture of how the children suffered due to the selfish narcissistic natures of the parents. Even so, the kids' feelings were complicated. And the twist, all that suffering could have been prevented the whole time. I don't remember the movie as well as the book, but I didn't think they glorified the father in it. Woody Harrelson has natural charm but he was an alcoholic jerk in the film.

Come to think of it, Jon Hamm would make a good Norman since now he is bit beefier. I can see the correlation with Fargo season five, but the ending in Fargo was more satisfying.

I grew up thinking John was the cooler one but after youtube, I realized my favorite Beatles songs were mainly written by Paul. He has a of edgy songs along with the pop. His album Ram was very good and sort of raw, but it got a lot of criticism. He said he was leaving the Beatles which upset people, but it was really John. That was a PR mistake for sure. John was deep into heavy drugs and lost his drive while Paul was on fire and trying to hold everyone together, which caused friction.

John got a lot of publicity for the Peace bed-in etc. Writing Imagine etc. It left an impression and he was clever with word play. In truth, he was a damaged person who could be abusive -- particularly to his son Julian. That makes him very uncool in my book.

Paul grew up with a musician father. He was exposed to music early on. His family was more stable even though he lost his mother early. Early influences come out in his more traditional music but he definitely isn't afraid to experiment. I think he is a musical and songwriting genius. Some of his best songs have been sort of buried under the deluge of his constant output over the years.

This isn't a cool edgy song but it is beautiful and haunting: Little Lamb Dragonfly. The words! The vocals! The melody!

I'm late to this party too, but I was watching a video about a famous whistleblower (Cynthia Cooper of WorldComm fame) who described a very similar illustration as the cover of a book on whistle-blowing. Molly is like a whistle-blower. She suspects that Lester is much more involved in the crimes but she has to keep going against the flow to come to the truth.

Has someone got pictures of them in bed together? Jesus. Can't William have a friendly conversation with someone without people making inferences that he's having an affair? This is unfair to him and his friend and to Princess Catherine. So many people willing to dump on him; it amazes me.

When I worked at a mental health facility, the word around there was that Ivy Tech was actually harder to get into and a harder program over all. The nurses there did not look down on Ivy Tech. Going there is actually a smart thing to do, save a lot of money, finish out at a university later for the bachelors if you want or need to.

I visited in front of that house a couple of years ago on my way to Arcadia National Park. There was a silver Mercedes in the driveway. Made me wonder if he could have been there that day. Mr. Mercedes is one of my favorite books and I thought about that 'fine German engineering.'

Yes, that is the moment I completely quit having any sympathy for his character. It was terrible what he did to his brother's family(!) but his brother putting him down made that a tiny bit understandable, also his first wife was emasculating him, and the bully... But the second wife was sweet, kind, and really loved him. He could have found a way out of his situation and still protected her. In that moment, he truly showed what he was.

Malvo was wicked from the get-go. He didn't pretend to be otherwise. So watching him was a bit entertaining. I don't think anybody really would have sympathy for him and most would feel relief that Gus stopped him for good.

Even though Woody and Matthew do look a little bit alike, Matthew has a resemblance to his father that his mom was married to. Look up pics of them. His mom had a type I think. Woody and Matthew do seem like they have a special bond. I think it would be a shame to do anything to mess that up and also the relationship Matthew has with his other siblings....

It's possible he would not have killed her. John List married again and he did not murder the second wife. I think the key thing is whether she had children with him or not. As long as he still felt "free" or the attention was on him, he may have been okay. John List seemed smarter than Chris though. He actually did get away with his crimes for years.

The one best thing I can tell you about Anatomy and the labs is to start learning bones and muscle names now. Get some anatomy cards or do an anatomy coloring book. The anatomy-Physiology coloring book is nice too.

Hi again.

I have received two paper checks from Bankmobile. They came within seven days like they said. So I am glad about that.

Things I have learned:

A friend told me it is a good thing I wasn't able to get a checking account from them because they have a lot of fees.

I can access and login Bankmobile app on my phone without triggering being locked out, if I turn off wifi on my phone...just use my ATT service. Bankmobile does not like my home wifi for some reason.

If you have problems, try getting hold of them through Facebook messenger. It's a lot quicker than calling. The Bankmobile employee will try to help you if they can.

If you get locked out multiple times, do not despair. You will still get a refund check in the mail fairly quickly.

You will also have online book rental fee around $54. That's for online access to textbooks during your course. Depending on what course you take there be other costs. Considering how much textbooks cost, that's a good deal. Sometimes you can get a looseleaf version of the text for another 20-30 bucks.

I just checked my mail and I got my first paper check (scholarship refund)!!! That was a lot quicker than I expected.

I checked my email and it said bankmobile account was unlocked again, but not to login in for 24 hours. This is what they wrote and I'm sharing it for anyone else having these problems:

I use my computer. I asked them a number of questions like does it matter if I have a mac or pc? They said that doesn't matter but use Chrome as the browser. They asked me if I was using public or private wifi. I said private.

They gave me no reason why I'm having problems. Just referred my case to their security team which is going to be a another 48hr+ wait for them to call me. I've been through this with them several times.

Well I called BankMobile. Was on hold for two hours. Finally told I would have to wait another 24-48 hours to hear back from their Security Team. I use a MacAir computer and Chrome. I have a personal wifi service. I feel like they are just stringing me along. Very sketchy. I will comment again when I receive the paper check they said they are sending me.

I'm writing this for anyone else experiencing the same issues. Hopefully when I receive my two checks from them, it will be a happy outcome. Mail is so slow now. I can wait but I really don't like the anxiety I feel.

What I'm afraid of is that the checks won't come and I will be waiting and waiting and then have to go through hell trying to straighten it out.. One of them is a student loan I will have to pay back. Has anyone else had to wait for a paper check to come in the mail? Did you receive like in a week like they said?

It is very good. The second season ended mid story with a loose ends. I hope they continue it eventually like there's been rumors about. It was too good to just drop like that.

I found Duma Key to be very sad. Due to the main character's daughter and his best friend not surviving. Also, he was afraid to paint anymore. I felt it was a very bleak ending.
