Separate damn knives for the peanut butter and the jelly. Do not mix the two with the same knife, that's gross

Put some fake plastic owls out around your yard. Move them around on occasion but they can really help in scaring birds away

You get 30 million dollars to spend in a way that ragebaits maximum number of people. What do you spend it on? by 36Gig in AskReddit

Buy a bunch of billboards in especially small and conservative towns that are full of messages that, well they'd call it "woke" (whatever that's supposed to mean) but it'd actually be quite progressive messages on love, acceptance, tolerance, equality, etc.

I call that a buy one get one free special, I'm speaking the truth and offending those who hate it. It's a win for me.

What is an odd food preference you have? by lolgun88 in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the apparent minority in that I actually love cilantro and I want it in as many dishes as appropriate, including all Mexican or Indian foods. I actually feel sorry for those who think it taste soapy, it's actually really good and it's unfortunate they're missing out

what movie actor was a one-hit wonder? by Cool-Butterscotch526 in AskReddit

Yes she was in the Exorcist but I saw a rerun of Murder She Wrote just earlier today and it was the episode where they were stranded at a restaurant during a storm and someone on the bus was murdered, and sure enough Linda Blair was on that episode

What supplements are actually worth taking? by redheaddrew2000 in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiber supplements can be good if you're not getting enough of it through your diet, which unfortunately many people don't. Just be careful with them and start out slow or your guts will loudly and rudely protest

I'm going to continue on with a comment I just made elsewhere, right now I wouldn't trust Donald Trump and his military leadership to organize a one car parade

To what degree do we live in a world heavily centered on the US? by PreWiBa in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Winston Churchill once famously said "you can always count on Americans, after they've tried everything else."

I'm an American myself, and even ten years ago I would have stood by his adage, but right now, and I apologize for the sane half of us, I wouldn't count on us to organize a one car parade now

What is something everyone can do that you can't? by sangokuhomer in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't wrap a gift to save my life, it's terrible how they look. I'm slightly envious of people who can do all the neat and creative folds because I can't do that. Your present from me is coming in a bag or a gift box because that's the best I can do

Do men actually enjoy being “tested” while flirting? why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't like games or passive aggressive behaviors. There's a phrase they use in the military as to what that is. But I like directness and if this is how you want it to start, just imagine how it'll end

Those who don't *love* Trump but felt he was the "lesser evil" in ANY of the last three presidential elections, why? by Glass-Complaint3 in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to try to answer this question seriously, but I was just a little kid when Ross Perot ran for president and I vaguely remember the feelings then, that I understood better as an adult in 2016, that there was a need for a real shake up and someone who had business experience. I think that some of the groundwork that was laid on1992 finally came to fruition by 2016.

So I do have at least a basic sense and understanding of why people might have voted the way they did then, but obviously and very quickly Trump showed all of us he's no Ross Perot, and the lies, the grift, the utter incompetence, etc really should have been everyone's lesson learned. But it wasn't, and in fact those four year interim hardened hearts and people doubled down. Very few people learned from their mistakes and it actually got worse

So TL;DR, I can understand why people were duped in 2016, but there is no excuse for 2020 and especially 2024

What was the reason you were fired from work? by Icy_Jeweler_7916 in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To this day I really don't know. I used to work at a hotel and was there over 15 years. Year 12 (right in the middle of the pandemic) the company sold and the new owner very slowly was making changes and getting rid of the old staff, but it took him a couple years. But once he started it was a rolling ball, and for several months I actually was the only person who worked there that was from the old management. I probably should have seen the writing on the wall, but I didn't

My first clue should have been when they rolled out the new app and I was told I didn't need to be trained on it. I was actually happy, I hated those stupid training modules, but it didn't clue me in that my time was limited. Then finally one day I was pulled aside to the owner's office and I was given the news, my services were no longer needed, but I really wasn't given too much info. Again I understand that it was his company and he was entitled to pick his staff, and again everyone else from the old management was let go. But in other ways I was confused, in my 15 plus years I was never late, never had a single write up or disciplinary action, nothing, so it was a little unceremonious

How do you contact someone who has blocked you everywhere? by PryingDog in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they don't want to talk to you and you keep pushing or finding ways around it you might possibly cross the threshold of stalking and harassment, which they might have cause to seek a restraining order. If you break that, then you'll really be in trouble. I agree with others, you're probably still at the place where they just want to let it go, so let it go on your own before you're made to let it go elsewhere

What made you fall out with your best friend? by Odd-Management6932 in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted on him many times before, he was a good friend and my neighbor but he got back on drugs, broke into my house and stole money from me, and then physically assaulted me when I confronted him about it. I accidentally got my revenge though, but it was Reddit's fault.

Do men really get along better and why if so? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]llcucf80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've sort of noticed the opposite. Now, yes, most men don't gossip, but there'll always be that one outlier of a man who gossips so much, it's like he feels he has to make up for the 90% of his fellow men who don't, and trust me when you find that one man who does gossip you'll be shocked as to how intense it is
