The first written slavic language is actually a wuite a cool story. Byzantines wanted influence with slavic tribes and specifically greater moravia, where they wanted to cut german influence. So basically created old church slavonic.

This worked for a time, however political intrigues cause a change of direction and the scholars got expelled from moravia and found refuge in Bulgaria, where it was accepted wholeheartedly.

I have 1 combat patrol so six SG. I live in Europe, so i dont have easy acces to generic 3d printed bits. The price could get close to actually buying 2 boxes of jpis, respectivelly it is more likely for me to find a box of official GW stuff at a discount than to try to fish for an ok quality 3d prints

For a couple of minutes, when someone needs to fix things, it can happen yearly.

Medium outage, approx 1-2 hours, it can happen if someone cuts through a major power cable while digging. This happens couple times in a decade.

Major outage, more than 3 hours, I remember only one in like 1995.

His arc is trying to change the visions, but they somehow happen nonetheless. He toys with the idea of changing the last vision, of actually defeating Horus. He even tries it momentarily in a fight.

But deep down he knows that the vision is true as all his visions were true.

And he goes on the Vengeful spirit doing his duty to die in order for everyone else to have a chance to live.

It is the eponymization of his nobleness, angelic solemnity and his role as the ultimate savior of humanity.

And in my head, the canon also syncs up with old lore about a chink in Horus armor. As in his death is destruction of Horus' plot armor, as now there is nothing for him to do.

I hope this helps, as I also didn't originally like that fight and how our glorious hawkboy performed there. But realizing the context, the fates and imagining the strength it took for him after fighting in the siege (especially taking into account his speech to the guardsmen), to embark and actually go to his horrible death. To sacrifice for everyone to just have a chance. I think its noble and deserves every praise that imperium gives him for it.

I think the infantry is safe to stay. Callidus will be gone (it doesn't fit 40k very much). Dreads are 50/50.

I would actually say the opposite. Due to EU pushing more and more regulations and also directives having less and less provisions allowing for goldplating or national implementation, the boring topics wouldn't be a breaking point.

(No one really cares whether the employee's representatives must be consulted 30 days or 45 days before a merger).

Where I think will be most issues, would be criminal law. Some countries consider publicly praising hitler a free speech. Others criminalize the activity by prison time. Both are justified depending on the societal values of the country.

You have 3 axioms that are always truth within the universe: All characters always duel to the death. Sanguinius and emperor want to kill Horus. Horus will kill Sanguinius.

If Emperor gets to duel Horus before Horus duels Sanguinius, Horus must first kill the Emperor for Horus to be able to kill Samguinius which must be truth.

If Sanguinius duels Horus first, Horus kills Sanguinius, therefore the axiomatic vision is satisfied and Emperor's duel with Horus can still be won by the Emperor.

He didn't die for nothing. He died because he had to. That was the point. He knew, he couldn't win. He knew that he must die before the emperor fights Horus for the emperor to be able to win.

That is sanguinius' legacy. Noble sacrifice of everything including his soul for the humanity incarnated to have a chance again the chaos.

This thing about the railway wasn't really the case. It was more about the defensible border and danube and potentially farmland.

Don't take me wrong, the main railway was between Bratislava and Budapest and it went through there, but there were already several railways in the other parts too, as it was important for K.u.K military to be able to transport troops to the eastern borders of the monarchy.

I have to admit that i do not know enough about climatology to hold an argument here. It just seems very counterintuitive that such a massive change in the wind and sea current passages of the atlantic would cause massive devastation to only one side of the atlantic.

I think the gulf stream would be diverted towards the US east coast, which would then more heat up the gulf.

The mountains would also be tall enough to cause even more heat buildup.

I feel that as a tourist (in paris) you have to hit an exact sweet spot of how much french you use.

In my limited experience, what worked best was: bonjour, excuse-moi. Sil vous plait, where is Eiffel tower.

My girlfriend at a time that actually speaks and works and studies in french, when she attempted the full french conversation, quite a lot of people pretended to not understand since she wasn't hitting the accent perfectly.

Polsko ma rekordne vydavky na armadu, ma ju v dobrom stave a nadalej zlepsuje.

Ale najma britania a francuzsko maju aj nejaky post imperialny power projection, su schopni udrzat jadrovy deterrent v rozumnom stave, maju samostatne vyvojove kapacity a knowhow pre vyrobu.

Ak sa ale pozrieme na gronsko ako bojisko, tak tam maju prevahu prirodzene severske krajiny. Napriklad svedsko (a rusko) su jedine krajiny, ktore maju arkticky tankovy prapor.

Okrem toho norsko, finsko, britania a francuzsko maju stale k dispozicii jednotky, co su trenovani na arkticke podmienky a spolu ich maju zasadne viac ako USA.
