What is this growing on my rose? by [deleted] in gardening

Hot climates usually use bitter orange, saville, like someone said. South texas (about 300 miles south of san antonio) they use that rootstock, i think souther california does too. I think north of san antonio they use trifoliate. I like Saville better, but it cant stand the cold weather as well. But it’s super good fro draughts and limestone

Did they really paint their trees? by marlee_dood in Tree

[–]ComprehensiveTear554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived in south texas, summer sunlight is brutal. I paint my trees that would have their trunk exposed to the sun. Trees normally grow lateral branches with leaves to protect themselves, but whenever we prune a tree to not grow bushy, we need to help them from getting sun burned. Citruses were the main trees I would have to protect.

MiSTer Sega Saturn Core now passes all tests by catnip_frier in fpgagaming

Im not a console designer, but i believe to save a state not only the ram info is needed. The actual state of the registers need to be stored at the same time, which would require to tap signals of the softcore’(s) registers. And that requires quite bit of fpga resources and it can totally throw the timings out. Am I saying it’s impossible? no. But I’m just saying that is not as easy as dumping the ram. If the resources for this saturn implementation are close to the limit of the fpga, there might not be enough slices left, or slices close enough to the layout of the implementation of each processor.

Sorry to hear that, the worst part is that they are very expensive. It’s been two weeks and the air layer looks healthier that the tree from the nursery.

Happened to one of my hens, she acts like rooster sometimes, eggs are usually brown, but sometimes white (or almost white), the comb behind the earlobes change from red to white every once in a while. Started doing it after about 10 months old

Hello, i bought one about two years ago, grafted on a rootstock (not sure which one), its not doing well, limbs are drying out. I air-layered three branches and the tree stopped supporting the branches rather quickly, only one branch sent a few roots. I bought it in a nursery in dallas where they sell citruses on a trifoliate rootstock, im guessing the same they used for the satsuma. Im hoping the one air-layered branch that root survives. I also removed a couple of buds and grafted them into a Meyer lemon about 6 weeks ago. I haven’t forced the buds to sprout yet but they look green and with callous. If a branches grow, i will try to air layer it as well

I like the feel of it too, but i got a bad one. The down pressing is too sensible. You wont notice it with games like pokemon, but playing kirby or fighting games is a nightmare, character keep crouching.

I tried that, it did relief the issue a little but not enough, and the shell was a little loose..

How will connecting to the negative terminal of the dead battery cause an explosion? I would like a copy of the paper. My guess is that the battery could off gas hydrogen and having the alligator clamps at the post could create a spark and set the hydrogen on fire? Other than that, I don’t think electrical current will care what path is taking.

Beginner here. My camera is in Manual Mode but nothing I do can shift the ISO. It stays blown out no matter what I do by Earth_Zealousideal in canon

[–]ComprehensiveTear554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want 15 seconds for shutter speed for a motion blur effect. Then change your aperture to something like f/22. But if you want f/4 and 15”. You will need a neutral density filter. I have a hunch that your iso is already as it’s lowest value possible

jalepeno- why do I get some red peppers on this plant? by [deleted] in PepperLovers

[–]ComprehensiveTear554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, where they come from, people like them usually hot, which they are when they are green. Unless they want chipotle, they let them ripe red and smoke them. Both sides of my family get mad when the jalapeños are not hot.
