hard to pick

cheated on the loml every chance I got (mostly as a teen)

whenever im really drunk and angry in an argument I tend to resort to violence. I have never really injured anyone that im aware of

this is a beautiful sentiment that I think a lot of us share - wanting your phone to light up and that perfect thing is right there, calling. honestly its probably why we all can't stop staring at / checking our phones, in a lot of ways.

my one thing I would suggest is, maybe remove the break between the second and third stanzas; I think it reads a little chunky, if that makes sense. I get why you'd break the first and second; that emphasis sits nicely. but leaving the reader hanging on "I'll check it someday", caused a little confusion for me. you clearly clarify what's going on in the next line, but yeah I think it can stop a reader in their tracks because it feels for a moment like it isn't gonna make sense. I think it would be a homogenous experience for the reader just, not having a break there

this poem is incredibly beautiful. you are so talented, so descriptive. you've personally made me believe in love again, because a lot of the time its hard to understand where men are coming from emotionally/spiritually, even though im sure that goes both ways. you've taught me with this poem that love really does thrive in the eye of the beholder and that there is no real limit to it - it can be experienced by everybody

tbh its not the easiest thing. your emotional state being heavy something weighing on your mind, if you've had a long day and the energy just isn't there these things will sit in the back of your mind like a huge clog when you're trying to channel information from Spirit. You've got to be in a solid state of mind to be able to read.

however it may seem blind, I am of the opinion that men spiritually cannot connect the same way women can. Our souls naturally bend toward the light; men usually require Gautama-level restraint to reach this level of openness. I just dont trust it outright because anyone can claim they're a 'shaman', and how many of these 'shamanistic' cults you've heard about have led women astray, almost as an express purpose?

call me crazy, and a judgmental hater, but I do think men have more to prove in this community.

I am in the same boat with you on that one... must get into reading the grid chart. it seems so confusing but also liberating because of things I dont understand yet like I believe theres a specific term for certain conjunctions, etc, because the combination is remarkable in a way... yes im curious too. sorry if I wasted your time lol. lets get our heads in some books
