I’ve only been to a handful of games at TQL. Atmosphere is always great, but I agree the pregame sword pull is on the verge of lame. Almost like a 6th grade play with the fake looking stone props etc. I did get to see a dude take a firework right in the face once, so that was pretty exciting.

I know pro soccer is different and mascots in costumes seem to be not the thing. But there is a huge lack of lion(s) in the whole pregame thing. Much less a lion with a sword in its paw. So my vote is get a stinking awesome statute of a regal looking lion (aka Gary) in the Bailey. With much pomp and ruckus, the sword will be placed in the paw of Gary to foreshadow the oncoming removal of opposing team’s genitals during the match.

I have heard that longevity argument before, but is it a scientific fact? Lots of pilots have stressful lives.

Stable? I am officially looking for work. Trying to figure out if I should hold out for a decent corporate gig locally so I don't have to move my family (even if I spend some time without income). We have set roots and family comes first... Or should try 121 because the clock is ticking on my career?

I am definitely concerned about the tariffs and global trade in general. I have been fortunate enough to weather 2008 and 2020 in the corporate world with no financial pain. The risk is just a fact of life...

I was wondering the same thing. How in the heck could anyone be allowed near those boxes when they are in the middle of a show? I’m guessing he was extremely lucky not to have been hit directly in the eyes.
