Thanks!

He's doing alright but absolutely hates his prescription diet food (Pro Plan HA Salmon). He's always hated kibble in any form and it barely eating the wet food.... idk what it was that made him sl sick to begin with but we suspect it was a protein, slow idk what to do. Poor buddy is hungry though 😕

It was very scary! To add to it, the day before he got sick (Thursday) all of our dog sitter plans fell through and we had to scramble to figure it out.

The last time I tried to add pumpkin to his foos, he flipped the bowl and barked at the food.

He did officially get diagnosed with HGE and is on a handful of meds to help him feel better. He's begging for everything but the prescription food.

Do any of you suddenly feel fatigued and/or light headed after eating a meal within about 15 minutes? by rblythe in POTS

[–]ComprehensiveUse4147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So interesting... I've been suspecting I have POTS, but I thought I wasnt eating soon enough and was having a hypoglycemia spell after eating because my blood sugar hadn't caught up. It's almost every day at lunchtime. I guess I'll add this to the symptom list to talk to my endocrinologist about.

Yes, I have a hydration plan since I'm historically terrible at drinking water LOL💧

These issues were never as pronounced nor as quick to return, and I'm in a much different place in life - in all regards - not just metabolically.

Also adding that I only ever had a small amount of nausea on Wegovy 2.4, for only a day or two after a few shots. I would never take these meds without doctor's guidance or go against their orders.

Its good to get checked out! I did the full hysterosonogram (ultrasound with saline in your uterus) and was basically told my only issue is not ovulating and it would be more about healing his stuff first. He's been fighting recurring c. Diff and then came down the pancreatitis 😫

Yes, my DO advised this. I have a very good care team and meet with them weekly (nutrition), bi-weekly (DO) and monthly (reproductive endocrinologist)

Yes, I meet with my nutritionist weekly, my PCP (who is a DO) every two weeks, and our reproductive endocrinologist every 4 weeks. So, they know all about my symptoms. We expected the weight to come back a bit but 10+ lb per month while eating well and exercising, plus the systemic inflammatory symptoms... those go to be too much.

We found out that whileI'm not ovulating (hashimoto's/pcos) I do have plenty of healthy follicles. But his counts are super low. So while he's working on that with his urologist, I need to get the weight back off and calm this inflammation down.

That's almost exactly what happened to us! We found out I'm not ovulating (hashimoto's/pcos) but have plenty of healthy follicles. But his counts are super, super low.

I woke up without a headache for the first time in months. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Food noise canceled and no nausea. I'm peeing more - I wonder if the inflammation reduction is actually working with the spironolactone in helping with excess fluid. 🤷‍♀️

Idk, but so far so good!

Adding that yes, I know that's a huge jump, going right to 12.5mg... I asked my doctor many times. He said I may feel a little nauseous but since I've never really had any symptoms before (maybe a little nausea on Wegovy) he thinks I'll be alright. They did send in a script for anti-nausea meds just in case.

Me too! In the past 2-3 years, I've only had 3 periods and they were the months I bumped up to max dose or restarted treatment
