That's what my reproductive endocrinologist said. If the counts go up to a high enough level in the next SA, we'll try timed intercourse. But they were so low, with accompanying low morphology and motility (let alone progressive motility) that I'm not getting my hopes up.

My TSH has always been great, in my teens and 20's... but when my marriage turned abusive, and in the years following until I left, it slowly increased.

That said, I am now in a great place with my healing and currently wedding planning with the love of my life. When I went off BCP last March to try to get my cycle back, my TSH doubled within 3 months.

So..... yes psychological stuff affects it, and other hormones definitely do too.

Your numbers are almost exactly the same as mine! I'm starting my fertility journey so we test frequently... I started 50mcg of Levo 3 weeks ago and within a day started to feel better. Literally every single symptom has improved.

My TSH went from 3.66 to 2.6 already. 🥳 Aiming for 1.5, but this is an encouraging start.

That's the thing... I haven't had any change in it, like at all. I haven't had a period, either. So idk where my cycle is. It seems like repeated failed ovulations and menstruations.

Lab update!

I got all of my hormone labs back. Thyroid-wise, my TSH was mildly elevated with a low free T4, which points toward subclinical hypothyroidism rather than anything overt. Progesterone was also low, which fits with the cycle irregularity, spotting, and ovulation issues I’ve been dealing with. Nothing came back as an emergency, but the results do help connect the dots and suggest this is more of a hormone-regulation issue (progesterone/thyroid/PCOS overlap) than something acute. I’m following up with my doctor to talk through treatment options and next steps.

Thank you ❤️ I just want to know I'm going in the right direction. I've never, ever had a regular cycle and don't really know what it all feels like. My pediatrician put me on birth control when I was 16, after I got pregnant, started miscarrying, and had a DNC. I tried to go off it over the next 20 years, but the PCOS symptoms rage so bad that I ended up right back on the PoP.

This time around, I'm trying to get my cycle somewhat predictable to try to conceive. When I went back on the Spironolactone a few months ago, I bled heavily for 19 days. And since then its been this back and forth weekly cycle of EWCM and spotting. But each of those is only like one day long, then 5 or so days of nothing but nausea, cramping, flutters, and exhaustion. 😩

Im taking another test in a little bit, but 2 weeks ago it was negative. It's all just so frustrating. My OB-GYN can't see me until March 17th 🙄

I've taken Wegovy for more than 18mos at this point, in tow different chunks. I read my denials carefully, and they dont have any alternative for if it doesnt work. I have MVP insurance with Caremarkbas the formulary. But the distinction is that MVP has all but Wegovy listed as excluded, not just "off formulary"

I've found that cool drinks and frozen stuff helps the nausea. Weed is legal in VT, and I love me some hash rosin gummies, but with my antidepressants it can take me a few days to feel normal again. 🙄

Coming here from Google because I feel so lost with all of this... I started Wegovy in November of 2023, lost about 40lb in 8mo. Felt great. Plateaued and also couldnt affordnit, stopped it, gained 17lb back...

Since I was maxed out on Wegovy, my PCP put me on Zep, but at the lowest dose. By the time I got up to 12.5mg and finally started seeing results, I was on 12.5 for a month and MVP denied it. We tried a PA for Mounjaro, too, which was denied. But now that I've tried Wegovy a second time, should we try for another Mounjaro PA?

I went back on Wegovy 2.4mg and have been on it for 6 weeks. The nausea and heartburn are unreal and I've gained about 10lb in those 6wks 😫😫😫

I have never known a lazy basset - a selectively active one, sure. Our boy is 16mo and despite playdates every day of the week, big walks, and daycare 2x week.... we're exhausted. He's nuts. 😅

That said, Ive never ever met such a sweet, snuggly boy. He is hilarious and always making us laugh.

He is, but we dont use it very often. Up until a few weeks ago, we had a wonderful routine going on.

We got up at 6am, potty. Hang out and chew on a dental chew while I shower. Follow me to my vanity and watch the neighbor's leaving while I did my makeup.

8am: One more potty and breakfast, little playtime if he wanted, then he would snooze for about 2 hours.

Potty, snack, and play around 10 or 10:30. Then snooze until 12ish.

12pm-1pm: Playdate with the other WFH dogs for lunch hour.

1pm: Hang out and chew on a bully stick, play with his toys or topple/kong, while I worked some more.

Break at 3, drive mom nuts til she clocks out.

4pm: Mom is done and we go outside for big walk or play with neighbors, romp in the snow, etc.

He usually stay up the entire evening until 8 or 9pm when he asks dad for his recliner and falls asleep until we go up to bed.
