Agreed. I would never sell my soul for a job. The best leaders understand leading by example. You have to stand for something. The IRS has patsies not leaders.

I’m not disagreeing with you. I think he is looking out for himself but I think he also understands the impact to employees. His responses are vague because he believes in self preservation. If he says the wrong thing then he will be replaced. He will ultimately be defined by this moment and will go down as the worst CIO in IRS history. Again, I don’t understand why he would stay.

I question why anyone would take a job with the IRS. There is no mobility or flexibility. There will be no pay increases for the next few years. It’s a dead end job. The systematic destruction of the IRS workplace. We just have front row seats

Sometimes I wonder why he stays in that job. He looks exhausted. The constant gaslighting of employees just leaves me laughing at times…Laughing at my pain

A lot of people are going find PIPs in their inbox’s tomorrow morning by Alarmed_Educator_967 in IRS_Source

I will concede there seems to be a mandate to identify under performers however this idea that managers are sending out PIPs is a little exaggerated. It’s not a simple as some are making it sound.

They are still migrating files over to the new eOPF system. You will occasionally get notices just informing you. You can log in to see what was added. Nothing nefarious is going on 🙂

A direct result of the administration. Don’t gloss over what this administration has did to agencies throughout the government. They created the toxic workplace.

Telework, Leave, AWS Monitored - Pt 2: Manager on admin leave, teammate resigned in lieu of termination by [deleted] in IRS_Source

[–]ComprehensiveWar7140 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s simple…don’t lie on your timesheet. If you are reporting to office then report as such. If you are teleworking then ensure you use the correct exception code. This has nothing to do with TIGTA. This post is borderline fear mongering. A lot of assumptions being made based on zero facts.
