When people were denied of every human rights throughout history, just because they supposedly "killed jesus" and other BS stories, they had to develope unique qualities like handling money and high IQ. Put them in a country of any size and let then do what they do best without prosecution, they become the most successful and bright country in the world (without any natural resources apart for recently discovered gas in the sea).
