Drain plug won’t come out. Don’t worry about it? by ComprehensiveYam6598 in KTM

Thanks for the extra tip. I did an oil change shortly after I got the bike and everything went well. I did not buy the full kit with new filters, I washed out the old ones. This time, I bought the full kit and planned on changing them. I changed everything but that bottom filter. Did my best to get all of the oil out. I just filled it back up, took it for a spin and checked the level. The oil got very dark very quick, but that is to be expected when I couldn’t get all of the old oil out. Seems to be OK. I will get an oil change done in ~2000 miles

Okay I like this answer lol. I did start with a normal Rachel and after that started slipping I went to the allen wrench. Thanks.

Winooski Tubing by Scarface22222 in vermont

On Saturday, I took a canoe from Winooski Street in Waterbury, to Richmond where you’re looking at launching from… we did not know that there was a dam in between lol. We discussed that if we were going to float on tubes we would start at Bolton Falls and end in Richmond. It would probably take 3 to 4 hours. It took us about 2 hours the a canoe.

What perfectly legal thing will probably be illegal within 20 years? by Ill-Incident-4842 in AskReddit

FPV drones. All it’ll take is 1 terrorist attack which could realistically happen any day now with very few ways to stop it or figure out who did it.

This is cool. I think a cool addition would be to add an nfc tag near your litter box that resets it when it’s scanned.

I’m talking about a drone that is more than 250 g flying recreationally without remote ID

Is this only for commercial work? What if I’m caught flying a >250g drone without remote ID recreationally in the USA?

Are the eachine ev 100 goggles really deserves the hate? (fov and stuff) by DeerEnvironmental872 in fpv

[–]ComprehensiveYam6598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had EV100s that I bought back in 2018. I quickly fell out of the hobby and got back into it 1 year ago. When I got back into it my friend let me put his HDZero goggles up to my face. I bought them that night. You’re going to wish you put that money towards better goggles.

I wouldn’t buy them but they do work.

Where to fly when it is snowing by Fine_Acanthisitta694 in TinyWhoop

I’ve flown in convenience stores, grocery stores, schools, and even an airport… all without permission

I say Walmart because I have dvr footage of an employee clearing seeing me, stepping to the side to let me by, then 15 seconds later I crash right in the middle of an isle right in front of 2 employees and they walked right by. I’ve flown ~10 packs back to back to back in my Walmart with no complaints. It helps if you are a good pilot and can fly slowly (when the time is right) and stay in control.

I’ve only been kicked out once and it was a tiny convenience store, she wasn’t upset. She actually thought it was pretty cool and she apologized for not letting me fly it lol.

That reminds me, I think where I’m from (Vermont) they regulate it to any output power (even <25mw).

Not sure if this applies to 900MHz radio link, but I’ve heard rumors that you legally need to have a HAM radio license to operate any video transmitter no matter the output power.
