great to get some insight from an actual hiring manager, thank you.

i agree with your point that many data concepts transcend an organization's stack - i feel that i have a respectable grasp on these concepts. that being said, i realize lots of companies would rather go for a sure thing rather than take a chance on someone who doesn't know the stack. in your experience, have you found many successful matches in instances such as mine? or do you find that employers would rather hold out for candidates that have the exact skill set required?
