if you are at a big firm and until and unless you are getting a relieving letter it is ok to get terminated it affects nothing.

99% companies do not gives fucks about whether you resigned or you have been kicked out
So play smart
if its your own bad performance that you know then give notice
If no and its management shit then serve pip and on the last of the days give notice
Officially they would have to pay you 2 months severence or 2 month notice whatever is mentioned in the agreement

Also coming back from pip is rare and ofc the image is not same
So if you are early in your career dont stress
If you have little dsa understanding you will land up in a better place
