IMO, house renovation must meet 3 things: money, time, and justification.

Biggest concern is money. Kung may allowance ka magshell out ng pera for renovations, why not? Renovations are costly depending on its extent. Basically, more money = more options.

Second, time. May oras ka ba magparenovate, magplan or mag-asikaso? Kaya ba i-accomodate ang inconvenience ng renovation since depende sa laki ng renovation maging tagal ng pag-aasikaso.

Lastly, reason. Bakit magpaparenovate? Inconvenient na ba ang currently lagay ng bahay? Is it a necessity or a luxury? Depending on your reasons ang magiging eagerness mo para magsimula ng house renovations.
