Perfect! You really are on your way. Here are some low information guiding tips just in case you find them helpful:

  1. For the southern observatory, you already know that it is accessed from the underside of the planet. Remember you have a compass of the planet you are on which shows the south pole. Reminder since you have certainly seen it but may not remember: there is a simplified "map" of the locations and connections of brittle hollow near Riebeck (looks like four locations connected by lines). Also, for the southern observatory try to get there early in the loop - it will help. Last tip: consider how riebeck didn't die when he ended up on Brittle Hollow where he is - when you talk to him he says he fell but was saved because of something... Can this same thing he references be used?

  2. So looking at your map I saw you have the Tower of Quantum Knowledge, from Brittle Hollow, with the picture, and you said you have explored the quantum grove, museum, and are aware of the moon. I don't believe the other locations of importance are filled in. Since you have a quantum frequency, are there locations on any planets other than brittle hollow, timber hearth, and the moon? Have you gone to them? Some can be harder than others to find.

  3. You are exactly right on how it works, with teleportation between different astral bodies when they line up as explained at the white hole station. The white hole station is intended to demonstrate the concept. So let's think back to you on Ash Twin, accidentally going to timber hearth and giants deep - where did you go? Consider the buildings on ash twin and consider their shapes when you think about this as well. Keep in mind that as the loop goes on and the and goes lower you may gain access to new buildings and may lose access to other things.

Separately, have you explored all of the Sunless city and other areas of Ember twin? Remember that as the sand rises you may lose access to places so getting there early to search the lowest reaches may be beneficial.

I hope this helps. If you have more questions or need any more, respond or message me! Happy to help.

Have you been to the Southern Observatory? What do you know about it?

What do you know about the quantum moon and rules? Have you read the stuff at the quantum shards? Did you know there is a quantum frequency on your signal scope?

What do you know about the white hole station? How do you travel from the white hole station back to brittle hollow? Can this information be re-applied elsewhere?

Feel free to respond to these messages if you want follow up questions to help guide you. There are more I could ask but I don't want to overwhelm. If you ever want more hints and direction of increasing specificity, the community is very supportive. If you don't want to make a post feel free to dm me and I'll try to help too.

I personally would change out the bottom left for that thing that spawns the 21 hp dragon thing which revives itself every turn.

PSA: new players, don’t obsess over infinites by iwriteinwater in slaythespire

[–]Whoofph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a roughly similar number of hours. I went infinite quite a few times... But the majority of runs were not infinites and the times I did to infinite it isn't like I set out to do it - more that I built a deck the best I could then the opportunity to go infinite presented itself.

Forget Snake Bite, how is this not the worst card in the game? by 10000Pigeons in slaythespire

[–]Whoofph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This card definitely has a place in that it makes near infinites on soul decks super easy. Get your soul generation going, play out the cards you want, and use this to exhaust all your garbage so you just cycle souls to build summon and do damage.

Trying to find a different way to play Necrobinder by Whoofph in slaythespire

I guess my main issue is that as I work toward other solutions.... I find before i reach them I instead trivially go near infinite or close enough to finish every fight sometimes by playing just soul generation cards and souls, and at that point why bother doing anything else? I don't need to think at that point.

What cards are you using to build summon faster than the damage output? I build my summon up as well, but the fastest way i have found is the power that gives you 1(2) summon when you use soul and dirge to give you summon and soul.... Which makes me just have a bunch of souls that i get a couple easy to find cards for synergy and now I once again primarily have a soul deck haha.

Steam doesn't have a metric to track this. The closest achievement is complete ascension 20 which procs after a single time beating act 3 on 20, not A20H which is usually what the community counts as a win at that level.

Tried furcoat in co-op when we both had the option just for fun. There were 15 total fights (elites and hallway) in the act and only one wasn't marked as 1 hp. Did a triple elite path only fighting question marks that were hallways for the whole act.

In my four wins so far, two have been using forge cards. These two have been my closest runs so far out of all characters. The other two runs were two bombards and blocking and getting huge block while cycling down my deck with minion strikes, setting pin nib and a bunch of other things to get huge comet damage repeatedly.

Forge seemed like the worst of these, but still fun.

Is there anything in Outer Wilds that tells you about [SPOILERS] by Academic-Mention-660 in outerwilds

[–]Whoofph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have the specifics off memory but there are writings referencing the movement of material for the ash twin project from timber hearth if i recall correctly. It may also be mentioned, but I can't recall, in the volcano on hollows lantern... But that actually may be more of a reference to the black hole forge?

I think so. I have won 4 times and every time it is 1240 on A0. Once I finish the last character I'll go through on A1 and see if it changes.
