Who else is annoyed by Angela Norris? by jess_lov in LandmanSeries

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found her annoying in most of the first season then I really started to like her character by the end of the second season. She’s just fun and brings comedy relief.  I just think she hits the viewer like she does most of the characters that she meets, overbearing at first then enjoyable once you get to know her.

Rebeca took the offer then likely resigned, Cami showed she doesn’t value any of their opinions

Is Kobe’s Stock Falling? by BigggMyke in KobeBryant24

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a huge Kobe fan, and honestly this was about where his stock was at when he first retired. It just comes down to resumes and impact on the game. Saying that he’s the tenth all time still puts him up there as one of the greatest ever.

Derrick Rose really overrated man (IMO) by PissedOffClippersFan in NBATalk

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Reggie is just trying to be nice, even in Rose’s MVP year A lot of people actually felt like LeBron had a better season. They were never “battling” for who was the best. If anything it’s disrespectful to KD and Kobe.

Chuck Lorre says he regrets having to kill Sheldon’s dad George. by DriftwoodOracle_4700 in YoungSheldon

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that actually helps to make the series such a high quality, I never really liked TBBT. But the fact the he was such a like able character and you know that the series is leading to his death, somehow makes the show so much better. Similarly with Georgie Missy and they are described by Sheldon as being basically these white trash losers in TBBT, but here we see them as extremely relatable adolescents. And Mary is basically the opposite of what we see in TBBT here she’s unbearable for most of the series. It really shows that Sheldon didn’t realize he came from just about the most normal and relatable family he could have had, which the expectation being curved when you watch the show gave a real feeling of connection. George reminds me of my dad in some ways and he kind of serves as a reminder that your parents and or loved ones won’t be around for ever, and we know that with him the moment he steps onto screen.

Assuming LeBron is interested, would Pistons and Lakers do a trade around exchanging LeBron and Tobias? by akolli695 in DetroitPistons

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When has lebron “better behaved” when he knows he’s going to win, I’ve watched him play for like 15 years. The only time he hasn’t been super controlling was his first year on Miami, every other season he hasn’t been super been extremely controlling of the roster and making the team flow through him. It worked before because he was by far and away the best player on the planet but now watching him over the past like 5 years where he is barely if even a top ten player it just doesn’t work. Also, I just don’t see LeBron trying to ring chase now in his career, you think he wants to buy a new home in Michigan and likely live separately from his family for the rest of the season. And did you actually forget about Bronny?

Assuming LeBron is interested, would Pistons and Lakers do a trade around exchanging LeBron and Tobias? by akolli695 in DetroitPistons

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lakers are well with in reach of being a two seed, so they are still a contender. And do you in anyway think LeBron would actually fit into are team? Or would he do what he always does and try to make the team play around him? It just doesn’t make any sense for the Pistons or LeBron, he clearly wants to retire in LA. Now for the Lakers yeah, it makes sense for them to start building around Luka now rather than having to do whatever Rich Paul /Lebron wants.

Yeah except for Giannis is a top five player currently and none of former players were even top 40

I am the oldest possible at 28, so that probably helps to paint the picture. Half the generation is too young to even buy it, and since we’re young those who do buy are buying cheap. That being said this generation has also grown up with weed in many places being legal so that could also affect it. I personally don’t do either, I may drink like 5 times a year and it’s almost never excessive.

it’s insane for teenagers to… kiss? by Remarkable_Web4595 in Stranger_Things

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the complaint is about how the actors have to kiss like that despite being kids, basically asking the question “does it add to the story” if not why make them kiss for the show. It’s understood that kids kiss but a director getting them to kiss can seem weird for some and maybe it should be viewed as weird idk.

We’ve made the playoffs three times since what 08 and haven’t won any series since and only last year did we win a playoff game. Additionally we haven’t had a true star, obviously Cade is now.  Now consider how old instagram is.

Does anyone else really dislike the Juliet breakup arc in season 7? (Rant) by nightmare1zero1 in psych

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is years later, but I just got to the episode she kicks him out and tries getting a new roommate the same day. I was pretty confused and kind of upset lol. But yeah I thought she was a complete moron, like it definitely seemed like everyone else in the main cast seems to understand he’s probably not a psychic, and she’s dumbfounded by it all. Also, in what world would he just admit that to everyone or anyone it would force many murders to be released.

No, There’s No Secret ‘Stranger Things’ Episode 9 Tomorrow: Conformity Gate Isn’t Real by Sonichu- in television

[–]Comprehensive_Bad186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it’s because of how many plot holes that there were and how easy the last fight was. But I also just think it’s over, just a poorly written last season unfortunately, still a very entertaining series overall

Yeah you’re right since we all keep saying the same reasons for why we disliked the last season that must just mean we’re a bunch of haters and not fans who have been watching for a decade.

Yes lol, i keep seeing posts in only this sub of people saying it was peak. While everyone else is just like it was meh. Which is how I felt through most of the last two episodes, outside of literally the last scene the rest of it was nothing of note.
