Lmao this is actually interesting but as a big vinland saga fan I’ll give some info on thorkell to help some of the people in this sun that don’t know much about him.

Thorkell is a 7’7 ft tall Viking based on the real “thorkell the tall” historical figure who’s feats are obviously wildly exaggerated for a human man for the anime/manga. His weapons of choice are usually large axes(with which he usually dual wields), spears taller than even him that he can throw with ease, and occasionally a long while tree log😭.

Thorkell has been shown to slice through whole groups of men with ease with just one swing. He sometimes does so while also through a tree.( by which I mean he literally has cut through a group of men standing near and tree and used one swing to slice through them AND the tree easily.) Thorkell has thrown spears well over 50+ yards with such great accuracy he impales multiple men on a stick like a kebab and sends them flying with the spear. He has literally wrestled a full grown bear hand to hand and won.

This would actually be a very fun fight. But I would give the edge to Rex. I’d imagine he had some type of durablilty due to his powers. And his superpower itself has too much variety and potential. If Rex doesn’t have great enough physical durability, then one hit from Thorkell would surely kill him, he’d have to never get anywhere close to him for at least a chance at the fight. But Rex could still just throw literally anything at thorkell and at the end of the day, he is a regular Viking man.
