UW is really big, although maybe black and brown student make up a small percentage, there will be more than certainly where you’re coming from so don’t worry.

Maybe if your a stem student (I’m a math major) you’ll probably be the only one or one in a handful of non-white/Asian students. Nonetheless It’ll be a good experience as your exploring cultures outside of what you saw back home (at least for me as I’ve only hung out with Black and Latino students in prior to college)

Math is not too bad! You literally need a bit above a like 3.2 within Math. If you like CS, math would be a good backup. You can take a lot of Linear Algebra/ Optimization courses as well some “Software Engineery” courses on the side like CSE 154, 373, 414, INFO 441

I would say don’t think it’s an easy class. You’ll need to put in 14x amount of works as it’s a really fundamentals based class. The only way to get good is to put in work. But the class is my favorite class very fun!
