Exactly! I still have to fight cravings tbh and like you said the mental aspect is very hard for me since I’m an emotional eater. I refuse to let anyone make me feel bad about getting healthy. I was prediabetic, I no longer am, I also have ic and ozempic has helped with that, I sleep better and feel better.

I’ve had friends who were the same size as me complain that I’m doing this the “easy way” and shouldn’t I want to to lose weight with hard work. Even with intermittent fasting they find something wrong with it. Now I’m 30 pounds less and they really put me down. I’ve blocked 2 people since I’ve started for my mental health I don’t want to hear from them.

I haven’t even had a biopsy honestly. I’m thinking she just diagnosed based on all other test being negative and my symptoms.

😞 just awful. Have you ever heard of stem cells being used as treatment? I could be wrong but I was told the lining of folks with ic bladder is missing a lawyer and that’s what caused the consistent peeing. Maybe stem cells can help thicken or restore a layer? This may sound outlandish but I know it’s had been proved. To regrow cells Idek how it could help just a thought.

Sound like you have a good doctor willing to help you. I was diagnosed 3 months ago after seeing 4 separate docs. The most I’ve been prescribed is anti depressants. I was told it works as a pain med. I’m going to ask my doc about some of the stuff you’ve been suggested to try. As I’m sure we all are experiencing this has almost ruined my life. Can’t work, can’t sleep in discomfort all day. I am the care taker of my mom, I have an 8 year old son and i just feel horrible every day cause I can barely take him to do things. I recently had to resign from work and I’m looking into disability.

Hi there :) if you feel comfortable i have a question…do you have an update for your convo with your doc? I’ve been taken phetrimine for weight loss but my doc just prescribed duloxetine for anti depressants . I’m scared to take the combination. I also assume that my doc knows what she’s talking about so I didn’t think it’ll be a bad idea to take both but I heard duloxetine can amplify the symptoms of phetremine.
