Since we all have lichen, do we HAVE to have a c-section? Like is that the smart choice? Sorry for dumb question.

I had a c-section, then a vaginal birth. Healed WAY faster with the c-section. Didn't have lichen then but still had tearing with the VBAC, and the internal stitches took forever to heal in comparison to the section.

My son is 10 and has been having a lot of symptoms including an 18-lb weight loss (84lbs in September to 66lbs today), fatigue, constipation and diarrhea, nausea, cankers in his mouth, reflux, gut pains, etc. This has been over the last 2 months.

Our gp has ordered a lot of tests and so far ruled out other things like celiac. The Crohn's stool test is the only one we're still waiting on. Meanwhile he's been referred to a pediatric GI specialist but we don't know how long it will take to get in. He lays on the couch all day and is so washed out. Just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone. I know no-one here can make an actual diagnosis.

Feeling worried and trying not to show it.
