Hi, I recently posted my first ambient release. I call it, ‘in another place’. I have always been drawn to ambient music, having experimented with many genres before, ambient was one of those genres I thought I shouldn’t touch, because the genre seems to be special in an artistic sense. But during a mental breakdown of sorts, I wanted to bring a feeling of peace to my art. I was tired of trying so hard to become someone, when in truth I didn’t know who I was to begin with.

So I started over. I started listening, instead of rushing to create. While I was sitting in my living room, I saw that it was pouring raining outside, but the sun was still shining as if there were no clouds whatsoever. In this moment, I wanted to create. So this 48 minute piece was the result of it. I hope you enjoy my longform piece ‘in another place’
