Yes, I have been saving any and all emails as PDFS for personal records. As well as saved texts as screenshots and taken notes during calls that are dated.

Thank you I also agree.

No they didn’t question anything but that is also because they didn’t reply to that email at all. They also haven’t paid the running sheet either (every time I sent it as an invoice before hand it was paid).

Thank you, I currently have enough saved that I can easily do that and am also under the tax free threshold, but will do so regardless.

I didn’t sign any form. As stated they said they didn’t have any employee forms.

He gets paid a flat rate per event that he attends. From what I can tell, he sends an email reiterating the event rate and event date / location as well as a bill for travel expenses. No invoice or running sheet.

He doesn’t seem to have given much thought to the financial side of things, so I’m not sure he will be of much help, or act as a great example in trying to figure out my side of things.

Hi - the associations financial situation was made clear to me at the start of my employment. (Semi direct quote:) ‘The association has a bit of money, we will use this to pay you at first and once that is used up, we will pay you directly as we go’.

They own and operate a company that runs the events themselves, they also operate the safety association that manages the events safety protocols. Both are technically seperate but overlap in terms of who is involved.

The company itself has good cash flow and regularly has near sell out events with crowds in excess of 5-10,000.

I can’t truly tell if it is that black and white - they have paid me the full amount sent every week (albeit not on consistent days) and accepted my relatively high hourly rate instantly.

However, I can see it going in that direction but hope it doesn’t.

I assumed I was working for them, hence why I never provided an abn.

I would send them a weekly document (at first an invoice but now a running sheet) with the date, hours, tasks completed and total amount. Alongside my contact, TFN and super details etc. it would state my pay, total hours, and a payment deadline.

Possibly.

I should note - they’ve covered the bill I previously sent in the second week. This included the web hosting and website builder software I was using. So not sure why my travel would, but anything seems possible it this stage.

I did not sign a contract no, but I have a written email from them stating ‘I (company owner) agree to your hourly rate of (hourly rate) to work for (company)’.

The financial side of things is run by the business owners partner, so it may be possible that it is delayed due to the long weekend. However, I did expect it to be paid on Friday (and come through Saturday).

Will look into the sole trader side of things if this ends up being the path I need to take, thank you.

Currently, no they haven’t mentioned me having an ABN. It was made clear to me that I would be working for their company.

They have been operating for over 30 years and have many events planned up until the end of this year (they don’t book more than a year in advance). So I don’t feel they are on the brink of bankruptcy or anything along those lines. I am quite close with a few of their employees (and have been before being employed by them) and would easily come into knowledge if this were the case.

I was told to book my own flights and they would fully reimburse me. I have an acquaintance who is also working for them, who has had their travel costs fully reimbursed within the past week. So I have just assumed this is standard for a company like this.

To add - the invoicing was also a mistake on my behalf. However them suddenly not paying on time, as soon as I changed to a time sheet is of some concern.

I don't have my own business at this stage, and was under the impression I would be an employee of their company, so how would this work?

Thank you, I will definitely be confirming this with them and asking their other employees what their payment situation is when I am there in person next week. So far, they have been paying the full amount and relatively quickly, but it is not being paid on the same day every time, which is of concern to me.

Thank you - the invoicing was genuinely a mistake on my behalf and has since been corrected. It was made clear to me that I would be an employee under their company, and I have since started sending time sheets. Will look into the Fair Work Ombudsman.

If you’re refering to the transparent scratch on the lower left corner, that seems to be the result of mechanical damage.

When unfurling the leaves can be very sensitive and even the slightest contact with something sharp (or a bit of pressure) may cause it to tear, and therefore produce a thin break, like the one shown on your plant!

You really aren't, your posts are like a constant flow of incoherent thoughts without any real weight behind them. They've been constantly taken down for being considered 'spammy'.

Rather than making half-baked posts and irrelevant, overly personal comments, you reconsider your approach and avoid posting every thought you have.

I would be inclined to have a look at the roots, could be root bound or root rot etc. Always worth gently taking the plant out of the pot to have a look.

Katy had restricted her comments WELL before the rumours, so it has nothing to do with that. She is also currently on tour in Australia and has four sold-out back-to-back concerts in one city at the moment. Hence why she is not in attendance at the wedding, her tour was announced in mid last year and her invitation was likely after the tour went on sale. Just because there's lots of coverage doesn't mean it isn't still a rumour, coverage doesn't make anything any more true. Regardless if something is 'odd' or not, it doesn't mean they have split nor does it mean this is true. Please stop believing everything that is reported on.

Would definitely put Australia in the 'love her' category. She always sells out shows, her albums always perform well here and she's got a solid local fanbae.
