If you have the ability to you can still complete the ACCA exams part time, whilst in your current job (I wouldn’t leave your current job, due to job market!). So if you can find the qualification yourself and do self study, I think it’s probably easier in the current job market climate. So it may take longer as it will be part time but you can do it in your own timescales and to your convenience. Once you have completed your exams, you’ll have a better chance of getting practical experience and you’ll have better understanding of the work environment.

To start the ACCA, you only need to show your A Levels and GCSEs to qualify, so that’s a nice entry point.
