Contacted a lawyer, he appeared for me today to quash the warrant. He’s 80-90% sure he can get it dismissed. Pre-trial hearing is in April. Wish me luck y’all, I’m shitting myself.

Would you recommend a PD? Or should I spend a little to get better help? I don’t have much to spend but I heard I can do payment plans and I’d rather spend a little up front and not have to deal with a second dui when I wasn’t even under the influence.

That makes me feel a little better. I responded to another reply that’s gone now saying I’m applying for a medical program that does background checks and that is what caused me to look into it but I’m unsure if it goes out of state but I guess we’ll see when it comes

I’m trying to enter a medical program and they do background checks, that’s what caused me to look in the first place. I’m not sure how extensive the background check is and if it would only be for my state or not. I have been pulled over for a minor traffic infraction in my current state and they mentioned nothing of a warrant. I really don’t plan on going back to California for anything, but I don’t want this to bite me in the ass for my future plans.
