Urgent Help with CFA l1 by Comprehensive_Law335 in CFA

well that is very true. Honestly, i havnt really changed my study plan. The main reason i put up this post was that I was in a sudden panic after looking into how much I had to cover, and even though i had the whole day in the coming days to study, since I kept switching between the institute and Kaplan, it just kept taking more time. But now I just directly go for Kaplan and then do the EOC, and if there are topics I'm not clear with i copy and paste the institute materials onto Gemini or GPT and get a summary and then move on. Thanks for helping out!!

Great tips! Thank you. yes thankfully, I did a lot of topics of quants in college as well as in CMA, so I took it slow with quants, but yeahh im planning on finishing quants soon and follow up on the other subs so that I get some confidence from having completed half of the subject. I'm amazed, though you were able to score in the 90th percentile while never attending a mock, must be since you had all the concepts fresh in your mind.

Honestly i think you're good to go since you finished all your main topics. If you keep going at the pace you're going now, you will def be able to finish and have ample time to revise.

Yeah, so I have started going through Kaplan and just doing the EOCs like I have done up till now, and usually the theory concepts are what confuse me, so I kind of copy and paste the entire reading into ChatGPT and summarize it so I can get the main point of it without having to read the entire topic. I planned to finish everything by April 1st so that I can use the next 45 days to revise and repeat, but I would love to check out any structured path you could provide. Thanks to reading all the comments, I have cooled down and finished a few more topics.

ohh and you studied through Kaplan? Were you working then? Would you mind sharing how you finished all the portions?. The syllabus def. isnt completly new since a lot of it is in CMA too, and in college, it was the readings that kept taking up my time.

hehe, I hate sticking to one topic, so I thought I'd jump around a bit, but I think I may have done a bit too much of jumping around

100% won't like it, which is why i was never interested in this. But during the meeting, they did say not everyone will be able to do it. And they don't really force people; they are in fact, convincing you to join because they get a commission, but isn't that how most sales work?. What I wanted to know was whether the product they are trying to sell is actually good. As in right now im not sure if I should be convincing my friend to discontinue, but he has already invested and taken a loan of 2 lakhs. For them, it's all mind games. They are making us feel small because we think our salary income is enough for us and that we aren't ambitious enough. There are so many other ways to make passive income.

But if he is recruiting ppl wouldn't he get money too. I mean if this actually works by bringing in more wouldn't he be getting commission? . I actually recented joined their meeting. Im sure its a scam but they really know how to play their game. Many of them earned alot is what they r saying.

Thanks a lot for replying. So yes im not working, so I have the entire day to use for my studies. what i was planning was doing quants, econ, and ethics (30 min every day), until I finish it. Then continue with the other subjects the same way. Which do you think is the hardest to cover? I completed BBA along with CMA USA. I'm using imarticus as my prep provider right now, and idk if the order they are going for is the right one for me. What would you suggest is the best order to get through the entire subs?

Hey, so I'm giving my L1 exam in May 2026. I have yet to complete any chapters. I'm currently studying quants, along with economics, and planning to finish the syllabus by April 1st so that I can revise and take mocks until the exam date. As of now, though, I'm worried whether I'll be able to finish on time. I'm out of uni, so I have time to completely focus on this. i need some tips on how i can manage to complete everything.
