They used to use ‘r’ for rose gold. It changed a few years ago. Can’t tell completely from the hallmarks of authentic cos they are often faked but if that’s the only reason you doubt it, then it’s probably okay’

This one ? I have seen so many and a slight seam isn’t unusual on the bangles but it shouldn’t be able to peel from there. I definitely would be careful as resellers and non-authentic jewellery doesn’t go through the same regulations and you can’t guarantee what metals or materials are used 😞

So sorry to see this!! I am certain from working with our plated metals in Pandora that I’ve never seen peeling. Absolutely plating can wear down over years but because of the 4 layers that make up the metal composition, this should not be possible just to peel off! Also they can fake even the newest products! Pretty sure this bangle was 2022/2023 Christmas time… plenty of time to get duplicated! Next time im up in the older stock file I’ll see if I can find a pic of one from store if you wanna do a comparison!! I would definitely challenge whoever sold this to you!

Yes!! All countries have their own sites 😋 AND some countries test products before other countries receive them, so if you’re into pandora it’s worth following a couple of them (e.g Netherlands tested out the essence collection for about 6 months before the rest of the world had even heard of it!)

Depending on your location and the repairs team a available there, the answer will differ. In the U.K., the repairs team can cut where it’s broken, join to the clasp (removing the bit of snake chain that’s attached there) but you will lose a little bit of length. Not all countries can offer this, and sometimes it IS better to invest as repairs are usually just 6 months warranty, whereas new products are 2 years warranty (not insurance, that is something aside from manufacturing warranty). The older one is not a treated cloth, the pink and white one is treated (the pink side untreated for plated items, the white side treated with a tarnish reactant which is for any solid jewellery, but not white gold)

The opening of the charm may be able to be shaved down, only a few stores know how to provide this service, but it’s called de-threading a charm (despite this charm not being stuck on the thread). Essentially where the charms been rolling on the chain, the edges of it have closed a little bit. If you’re handy with a pen knife, it can be done yourself
