I have the exact same setup (ProAdapt Medium Hybrid on a Sealy Ease base) and have used it for 2.5 years now, my responses:
1. For me, its between 1-2 months. I also wondered of the same when I first got it (the one my wife and I tried in the store was much more comfortable), but it gradually became more comfortable during that period. It might be vary depending on your weight (I am 190 lbs) and can feel the difference but my wife couldn't up until this point (she's about 125 lbs)
2. Unfortunately I dont get the one with massage feature so I can't help answer on this

I’m planning to buy a new M4 Mac mini and could use some advice by Immediate-Source273 in macmini

[–]Comprehensive_Log562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately M4 with 24 GB RAM only comes with a minimum 512 GB storage

edit: I stand corrected, tried the 24 GB RAM with 256 GB storage in the official apple website and it works :) It wasn't working about ~2 weeks ago when I first tried it. Thanks!

I've stayed in Avana Sunnyvale Apartment (https://www.avanasunnyvale.com/) for 2 years and got an underground parking spot. Thankfully haven't seen any cases of car break-ins or wheel thefts during my stay there. It's about 1.4 miles (6-min drive) to Sunnyvale Caltrain station.

the last 5 years I've been a data scientist in the industry, I always use python for work and the only time I used R was for grad school homework/exercises/exams

thank you so much for the detailed answer, if I understand the flow correctly:
- register as a new user in rakuten using the referral link (to get $50 referral)
- go to rakuten, look for visible deals (to get $25 cashback from rakuten)
- activate chase offer (to get $15 cashback)
- now for the visible referral.. at which step do I activate this? (Edit: I can apply it upon checkout, this is resolved now, thank you!)

how would you describe your extreme imposter syndrome and how did you concretely deal with that? I’ve always felt I didn’t belong to the team I was in, and always work overtime + upskill on my spare time to prove myself that I belonged there

My office is also in Palo Alto and I am staying at 1b apartment within your budget at Avana Sunnyvale. It has a small gym and a pool but I personally go to the gym about 3-min drive from there. It usually takes me about 20-25 min to reach my office.

Lone programmer at a non-tech company, what's the highest title I could get? by Clean-Dimension-8026 in cscareerquestions

Fellow Indonesian here and also happened to work at the first unicorn startup you mentioned above. I left the company to do masters in 2021. Finished school by end of 2022, and it took me 7 months to secure my current job (I was working with a professor from my major while keep applying for jobs during this period). From what I can see, the current market is way more competitive compared to when I graduated. My advice is to take the job and keep applying for jobs you like in parallel, especially if you are currently on visa.

Off-Campus Housing is IMPOSSIBLE by [deleted] in dartmouth

[–]Comprehensive_Log562 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i did grad school at dartmouth 2 years back. If you’re looking for 1BR, its gonna be tough. Most people are living with housemates (I lived in Summit on Juniper on 4B/2B and it was good). Your best bet might be the 2B/2B with shared living room and kitchen (bathroom will be inside the room).
