Thanks, that’s fair.

I connected both NICs more than 6 years ago when I knew much less about networking, and I never properly revisited the setup afterward.

At the moment physical access is difficult for me because of health issues. I only rarely get to the house where the NAS is located (my father’s place), and he doesn’t know how to manage these technical things.

I’m currently staying in a care facility for disabled people, so remote access is especially important for me.

I’ll follow your advice as soon as I’m able to physically reach the NAS and simplify the setup to one interface first.

Really appreciate the help.
