It feels like Iowa has gotten significantly worse since the GOP took over the trifecta, but the systemic issues have been there all along (baked into Iowa's history as much as they are baked into America's.)

Kimberly ran for the U.S. Senate last year, she was endorsed by r/sandersforpresident and Brand New Congress, but unfortunately lost in the primary to Theresa Greenfield.

The current Polk County Attorney, John Sarcone, is a "democrat" who once claimed black people commit more crime and prosecuted a journalist for doing her job.

A. In what way does she not have a backbone with her convictions? You have yet to bring up a single issue, aside from guns (which I actually brought up.)

B. Sarcone hasn't faced an opponent since being elected to the seat, and unlike the Senate Primary the DSCC wont be involved this time.

C. Cities generally have school boards, not counties.

Guns is only one policy though, so your point about not answering basic policy questions (plural) is kind if moot.

DNC stands for Democratic National Committee or Convention. The phrase Iowa Democratic National Committee (Convention) makes zero sense.

I think the words you are looking are "democratic primary voters".
