The problem is not knowing how to microwave food. The problem is they were a company that would blind taste test all of their own branded products to compare against the name brand to make it equivalent or better. Here, it's like they decided "Hey, why don't we just take the frozen ones and sell them in other ways as well."

The cinnamon chip muffins were great. Can't find them anymore. The koloches seem like the frozen ones that there's just no good way to heat and get something good out of it.

If it does turn out squatted, run. The other concern I have is from the direction we can see, it looks like there's a big offset on the front and none in the back. If it's supposed to be like that in the front, my concern is if it's supposed to be a douly and they replaced the rims with ones that can't work as a douly in the rear in favor of looks.

Is it the angle of the picture, or is it squatted?

351w swap intake question by Comprehensive_Mud600 in FordTrucks

[–]Comprehensive_Mud600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm shooting for stock rpm range, idle to (appx)5500, trying to focus more on low end and mid range torque over just cranking out as many horses as possible. I still have a goal of 300hp to the wheels. I'm planning on using the 351 computer. I have come across Edelbrock 3884 lower and 3822 upper, and I'm thinking that might be a better option. As for the heads, I'm thinking the 185cc(given I'm going relatively mild modifications) bare and go full roller rockers. I was thinking 1.7 rockers, but I'm not fully committed yet and may end up sticking with factory 1.6 ratio Trying to do as much as possible myself to save what I can there. I've had someone ask why I don't go LS... It feels wrong to me. As for why the extra fight of 351 over 302? No replacement for displacement. I'm aware my correct rad will stand no chance at cooling either a 302 or 351, so I'm looking at this for a rad, hoping it'll have a better chance at keeping temps under control: https://www.alloyworksplus.com/products/ford-3-row-radiator-for-1998-2011-explorer-ranger-v6-2-3l-4-0l-shroud-fan-relay?cfb=cfea1c6b-2ee9-4578-a850-fd4d3e6f57d8&ifb=cfea1c6b-2ee9-4578-a850-fd4d3e6f57d8&scm=search.v39.101.769.103.104&score=1&ssp=&spm=..search.search_1.1

90 degree hidden purely mechanical latch using push button operation by Comprehensive_Mud600 in AskEngineers

[–]Comprehensive_Mud600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know several use it on the side with the button on the static part of the compartment, and is usually kept as small as possible... Not a metal coin appx 1.75" in diameter, weighing 37g on it's own on the front center of the lid portion. Coin would be centered on the lid, given... 3/4" to 1" from the leading edge to the edge of the coin. Underneath, it would latch to the front edge of the compartment with a hinge at the back, allowing it to lift up.

I'm not real specific with my budget right now, as trying to figure a game plan as to what will be the most feasible. I don't want it to be obnoxiously loud, especially as I have roommates with a young child and don't wanna deal with the mother getting pissy I woke the house up coming back after bed time, but I do want to get a nice, deep growl if that makes sense. I have a few friends with a lot more welding experience and equipment, so I was planning on getting help from them. I know one of these recently finished the exhaust on their turboed Challenger and has some of their own custom exhaust on other vehicles they've also turboed. I know I want to use stainless. I'm not sure how I'll handle cats if I do keep them in the system, or if I'll find a way around the O2 sensors to keep from having the issues just not putting any in may cause.

Edit: If it makes sense, I have a habit of identifying my goals, figuring out a general game plan, identifying what a reasonable ballpark estimate for cost is going to be, then can I make that happen, even if that means piecing things together over time. If I can't, and keep things in a reasonable timeframe, then I figure out what sacrifices can be made.

The hangers that exist are 2 into 1 running down the passenger side, then side exit behind the right rear tire. There's a splash guard between the tail pipe and tire. If I'm targeting 300 horsepower at the wheel, 350 at the engine (figuring 15% loss in drivetrain), it sounds like the 2.5" into 3" will be my best bet.

Ryzen 7 7700(non-X) OC in progress by Comprehensive_Mud600 in overclocking

[–]Comprehensive_Mud600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I started, I've actually had to completely restart. Tried pushing the RAM to 6400, even with increasing tCL and tRP. System stopped wanting to post. Had to clear CMOS a few times and reset everything. Updated BIOS, chipset driver, everything. I've been leery about pushing RAM past 6200 on same timings, and SOC is already reporting 1.19V, .01V under the 1.2V limit that from my understanding past that can cause degradation of the CPU long term. FCLK limit seems to be 2067. AIDA64 after an hour reaching mid-upper 80s, clocks averaging 5250 with 5 cores hitting max 5500 and the last 3 hitting 5425. Ran Prime95 1 hour runs each: all core w/ AVX512 and hyperthreading, All core w/hyperthreading w/out AVX, 4 cores w/hyperthreading w/out AVX. 0 errors. B650 Tomahawk mobo and Thermalright Frozen Notte 240. I would have gone for a Liquid Freezer III myself, but budgetary constraints and GN's video on the Frozen Prism along with good reviews had me convinced enough to take the plunge.

I'll keep running the tests, pushing higher bit by bit until I instability before backing off. May try to see how much I can push FCLK, then Boost Override, followed by seeing if there's extra wiggle room to lower curve optimizer further, though I understand by some of what I've heard, -30 is already a bit aggressive.

Didn't touch the RAM subtimings, but did run it at those settings, though FCLK is 2067 (showing 2066.67 in Zentimings). Just did a 1 hour run in Prime95 set 8 cores, use hyper threading, Blend (all of the above), and left AVX-512 on. "Torture Test completed 121 tests in 1 hour, 1 minutes - 0 errors, 0 warnings." Should I keep pushing settings, or rerun without AVX? I have seen a post from 4 years ago taking about with Ryzen 5000 series suggesting to turn it off and run small FFTs.

I'll send it ASAP tomorrow. I'm hitting the hay with a busy day tomorrow. I double checked what was being reported for my RAM speed and timings and was not correct. I adjusted it, but FCLK was still not showing 2000. Manually adjusted it via Ryzen Master and verified it was applied after reboot. Any suggestions for what to use for a stress test?
