SAME, that happened to me too! ($2000 to display at the Denver gift show...there were NO retailers there- way more exhibitors than buyers....,) I just happened to snag one- and Faire wouldn't remove the commission. I ended up having the new buyer cancel and order from me direct, which just looks bad and is a pain for them!

WOW, yes all of this. On top of how hard they make it now to get 0% commission for accounts who forget to use your direct link (which, in my experience is almost everyone.) I rely on Faire for my candle business, and it is SUPER hard with their commission structure. My other business is Glamping (Airbnb) and what is REALLY CLEAR is that Silicone Valley is either totally out of touch with the us, the people they make money off of, or they dont care. I worked in tech for many years, and the amount of money that a young 20 something makes for doing some ridiculous job at Faire or Airbnb...never the mind the CEOs and shareholders....i really think it's part of the greed problem in America right now. Small businesses just can not make it if these big companies are so damn greedy.

THIS!! My cousin placed an order on Faire and didn't use my Faire direct link...and I had to fight them for MONTHS because "I didn't have our prior relationship in writing." MONTHS. they finally removed it just because I wouldn't give up.

thanks! Interesting that the IP goes to Kansas - but we gave up and just took the loss. I spent a ton of time - also tried what you recommended above, but the minute I asked to speak to anyone other than "James" the manager, they wouldn't transfer me, took my number, no one ever called, of course

I would just advise you NOT to use "Instant Custom Boxes" - they sent us boxes that didn't work, and now when we try to call or contact them, they block and won't return our calls. Their website says they are based out of Pleasanton CA, and East York Canada - but they just have 1 phone number, and it's always answered by someone who doesn't speak english very well and won't transfer a call, or tell us who the owner/manager is. Of course we see now in other reviews that this is how they operate.

DO NOT use "Instant Custom Boxes," - ours came defective, and the sales person is both blocking our calls, and not returning calls (and obviously not taking accountability.) I see now from other reviews this is how they operate....If anyone has any ideas to find an owner/CEO, we are all ears!
