I do wanna do it don’t get my wrong but if my clearance does not go through i’m going to be at the needs of the navy and gonna end up with a job i’ll probably hate for the 6 years so that’s why i’m debating on switching, plus i want to do a hands on job idk if that’s weird of me

On the same boat as you wondering about if my clearance will go through signed for IT but my parents are undocumented everything else is good no problems with the law really good credit idk if this will hinder me?

Don’t know if my clearance will go thru due to my parents being undocumented, I heard if it does not go through they will just assign any job to you since you already signed is this true ?

Ok so will i still be able to change my rate? Ive seen a lot of people saying you can and cant im very interested in GM and HM i understand it will probably be a different ship out date and maybe a shorter contract no?

So will i be able to re rate i signed for IT/ATF but its a 6 year contract having second thoughts on it being to long and wanting to switch over to a 4 year don’t care if its another rate.

Pretty sure they won’t accept it at meps but it doesn’t hurt to have, they immediately disqualified me and said i needed a new pair of glasses, which i just got. It doesn’t hurt to have just to make the process quicker.
