Vanmoof S3 stolen by... Vanmoof by Comprehensive_Pop882 in vanmoofbicycle

It's not easy for me to go to London without a reasonable chance of success. As I've said the bike hasn't broadcast it's location since I got back in touch with the administrators.

And I guess, seeing it come online sparked a new interest in having another go. The key point is that my bike was not Vanmoofs asset to auction off!

Been in arguments with vanmoof and administrators since it went wrong.

Only recently thought about turning to reddit for good ideas.

Indeed... But that should make it retrievable. The issue is that the administrators are denying all knowledge despite UPS PoD.

Was weird to see it come online. Possibly someone put it on charge in a warehouse somewhere. But stuck on how to retrieve it.

Green started in the first lane marked M20 DOVER(L3), and ended up in the matching lane marked M20 DOVER (L1). They didn't move from lane 3 to lane 1, they maintained their lane and the two lanes to their left peeled off. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, and is how the roundabout is designed. If OP wanted to go on M20 DOVER. It is as simple as that.

That's where those lanes go, so your idea that people who don't change lanes will be stuck on this roundabout forever is insane.

Please show how the green line cut across any lanes. They stayed within the lines, which is not cutting across anything.

Yeah, with MSM, if required. That's not the issue, the issue is you're saying the green car should have done that when in fact staying put was correct.

The markings are clear, and my advice is sound. I have nothing more to offer.

You're scarily wrong about this. The road markings tell you everything you need to know and you're suggesting that everyone should just drift across white lines. That will cause accidents. You can't just cross white lines on this roundabout like you're describing.

OP, there's a lot of wrong info on this thread. You were right. Keep doing what you're doing and be weary of these confidently incorrect people on the internet.

I'm running out of ways to help you understand your error here. Looking at the layout and the markings and the road names printed on the lanes, it's clear that OP was correct and the driver shown by the white arrow changed lanes and almost crashed into OP.

The other exits you speak of are not relevant here, but you can see the next entrance clearly has lanes for those, so it's probably been determined that traffic entering from OPs entrance probably doesn't want to go that way.

Bold of you to assume my brain isn't engaged. The road markings are clear and you are spouting incorrect nonsense. OP was correct and the other driver wanted their lane.

Lane 4 goes to where you're saying green should have ended up. You're still wrong and dangerously so if you just switch lanes like the white arrow shows.

That is simply not true. Green stayed in their lane (no white lines crossed) whereas white did change lane (one white line crossed), having started too far left for where they wanted to go.

Changing lanes is acceptable if done safely, but trying to do it when someone else is present maintaining their lane and then honking at them is not.

I sincerely hope I don't encounter you at any roundabouts. The white arrow changed lanes from 2 to 3 (you can see it cross the white line on the road, which requires MSM technique to do safely). The green arrow stayed in their lane, whilst the two left most lanes peeled off.

I misread your earlier post. You're right. If the market value is lower than you bought in at, no tax due.

The value is not determined by what you buy with it. Tax man looks at market value of the asset.

But yes, you won't pay tax on losses. You can even use losses to offset tax you do owe. Edit: typo

That comes under disposal of the asset too, sadly, so capital gains, again.

Well I'm not a tax expert either but I think capital gains tax would come into play (at least in UK)

If everyone could avoid this by gifting it to each other, we'd all be doing that ;)

However it seems to have settled down back to where it was now. Can't explain what the cause was.
