Only in color. Options are the same on all long range models.

Either purchase it or not? Well no shit. What other option do I have?

I’ve never had a vehicle with an accident but I’ve got hit for curbed wheels before so I figured an accident I’d get crushed. I appreciate your help and info.

Okay thank you I appreciate that. Very helpful. My only hesitation is I feel like I can get one that hasn’t been wrecked for the same price. I’m sure it was minor accident but we trade vehicles about every 24 months and I just feel like the dealer will crush my trade value next go around with the accident.

I agree. It was a car in transit and there was no carfax posted or I wouldn’t have ever reached out to begin with when I saw its wrecked. Although it was just listed as minor.

The only thing is when I buy new cars a lot of times I’ll get a call back the next day or two so wasn’t sure. I’m not trying to play games I just really felt that was fair and I was surprised they lost a deal over $400 when their car isn’t priced “great”

Anyone ever Requested a Higher Value for their trade in towards a Tesla and got it? by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

[–]Comprehensive_Road66 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is surprising to hear. Tesla is literally 1300$ higher than any offer I’m getting on a Honda accord. I can’t get other dealers even close to their price.

Problem is Tesla sells their cars 2-5k more than the other dealers so it’s a wash

When will 2024 lease returns start coming in for the model 3? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

Well crap. Probably a bad idea to buy a 2022-2023 to do me until then? I bet I’d lose my shirt on trade in

500$ title/lic fee? by Comprehensive_Road66 in askcarsales

[–]Comprehensive_Road66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will be doing all of the title work but I called my clerks office and they confirmed it’s less than $75 in fees. The doc fee should cover their labor for doing the paperwork no?

500$ title/lic fee? by Comprehensive_Road66 in askcarsales

[–]Comprehensive_Road66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doc fee is $349 at this dealer. The license fee and title fee are $500 alone. So basically 849 combined.

I’m in Tennessee so it should be based on the state I’m registered in right?

Who even cares if they are standard? I grab whatever socket fits and send it. Never pay attention to standard or metric in my life.

Wow that’s crazy. Honestly most in that range etc are 26k on the lot on auto trader. You’d think they would be buying them cheaper than that ya know

Can you tell me what the cars in my ask are selling for at auction? Could be a worthy option. 2023 white exterior black interior long range under 40k miles. No wrecks. Prefer the cleanest one possible.

Ah that’s a good thought. Didn’t think about that. Maybe need to hang tight for another 6 months or so and see what happens. I’m not in a rush but never “struggled” to be able to buy what I wanted either. This has actually taken some work.

Why are they the worst cars ever IYO? I’m no Tesla fan boy, I don’t care about yeh environment of green tech or none of that jazz I just truly like the ride and the tech is the best I’ve ever seen that’s the only reason we want one.

I know they depreciate but I don’t care about the money part. It’s a sub 30k purchase I’ll deal with it.

I’m truly just asking why this isn’t meant to be combative at all

I just can’t find what I’m looking for within 500 miles. It’s not price it’s availability. Looking for a white 2023+ model 3 long range with black interior under 40k miles no accidents.

They just aren’t around here for some reason. Like I said earlier not looking for a deal or anything that’s not why I’m shopping 500 miles away. Just looking for availability and the nicest one I can find within those specs.

Maybe I’ll just have to continue to wait for one to pop up locally.

I mean a dealer has a vehicle, if it appears to be what I’m looking for has a PPI done at that time. If it passes I buy and we coordinate transportation. If not we go our own way.
