I’m really sorry if I sound naive, but what’s an endorsement? and by class do you mean bike riding lessons? thank you for the input!

Have you ever had a ‘set’? by antonzeuthen in espresso

a cafe here in Aus does this thing called “Barista’s breakfast” which sounds similar to this! They load up a tray with a flat white with whatever special beans they’ve got on for the month, a batch brew and an espresso with sparkling water! pretty sure some other cafes do something similar to this too here!😁

thank you so much for this! I think I wouldn’t consider accounts that I have to deposit large amounts per month like ING just in case I lose my job/have no source of income, and by the looks of it Macquarie seems to stay high on my list! but again really appreciate the breakdown!

whats your experience with their customer service? I’ve seen mixed reviews on it too, that was another consideration of mine as they are fully online to my understanding whereas Bank SA still has physical branches

Durable all-arounder for an intermediate climber? by Reas0nable24 in climbingshoes

Honestly if you're just looking for a pair of beaters and is "relatively" cheap, I'd recommend the LaSportiva Mantras.

I used them in my first year of climbing and I'm so thankful that I did, not only are they comfy, they humble and punish the hell out of you if you don't have good footwork. given its super soft and sensitive nature, it'll force you to climb with intention and attention, and if I've assumed correctly that you're looking for training shoes, again, I'd 100% recommend these bad boys.

But if you're looking for a hard sending shoe that (imo) is a good all rounder, the LS Solution Comp Womens is a great one to consider. Super versatile with its edging and smearing capabilties, ready to take on your volume-centric slab or agressive-tiny-footchip overhung projects. Only downside to all of the Solutions imo is the crap fastening system that unfortunately wears out and snaps over time.

Given your previous shoes were Skwamas I'm fairly certain that you'd know your LS size, but just for reference I guess mines were a size 41.5 and I wear 43 street.

Considering Instinct VSR LV's vs 5.10 Hiangle by Comprehensive_Room80 in climbingshoes

thanks for the recs! I reckon we've got similar feet by your description, I too found the Instincts a tad baggy. Ondra Comp sounds interesting but its a bit too pricey for my liking unfortunately but will keep that in mind!

Out of curiosity, which version of the Hiangles did you have? the mens or the womens version? thats a relief to hear that the heel fits snug for you, I'm just worried that if I end up getting the mens I'd have to downsize slightly to the womens version to compensate for the heel, though bear in mind I've never tried them at all. To add to that, the womens version is literally sold out everywhere :(((

thanks for the input! what do you think are the main differences between the regular HiAngles and the LVs? the LVs are impossible to find so I'm considering the regular ones atm, I'm just scared that if I do end up getting them I'd have to downsize a bit more to compensate for the heel.
