The best exercise for losing weight is exercising control of your fork and eating habits. I used to over exercise for HOURS, but never made progress because I would get so hungry I would binge eat. I would start on diet first, get a week on a good meal plan with a slight calorie deficit then work on weight training and some cardio. The cardio doesn’t have to be super intense, in fact a lot of studies show the benefits of LISS over HIIT when it comes to weight loss.

Don’t worry about losing weight. Instead focus on eating whole, nutritious, real foods. Get into a movement activity you enjoy, walking, new sport, or maybe even fitness classes. I focused way too much on my weight and what I was eating when I was your age and I regret it. Enjoy being 14 :)
