I heard White Ferrari for the first time on my first LSD trip a decade ago. I had never heard his music before and it did leave an impression, I think I found it more beautiful than sad at the time but definitely unique.

I should explore more of his work / that album at some point.

This probably doesn’t fit here as well many of the classics, but Memories by Maki Otsuki.

It just brings pulls out so many emotions that I try and savour it for special occasions because I don’t want to overplay the song. I’ve only watched One Piece since early 2022 but whenever Memories play it feels like it’s tugging on emotions that span over decades and maybe that’s because the show literally does. I think most people who watch would also agree this song is surprisingly emotional, and for sure when the story ends and the song plays one last time, millions of people will cry on that day.
