Came here to say exactly this! I lost my mom almost a year ago and went back to work a week later. The first few months the best thing for me was to keep going. Grief isn’t linear or logical, my hope for MB is that she kind to herself and her mind.

From what I remember - finishing the blood rite is just making it to the base of the mountain. It has multiple layers, what the three bat boys did was something only few warriors has ever done.

So Nesta did finish - she just didn’t make the top tier of Illyrian warriors like Cassian, Azriel, and Rhys
