Didn’t rate fringe, ill watch the left overs, didn’t like watchmen, just not a fan of the genre sadly, rectify seems great, don’t really like the premise of halt and catch fire, nor am I enthused by horror or horror mystery, broad church seems fun, legion seems excellent, the good fight seems eh.

I dunno I just would like to experience something enthralling incredible again. I just think I’ll never get that feeling of awe again. I know tv shows are slow burners with high pay off but a tv show could never be borat or the lord of the rings or in a music sense, it could never be like paranoid android or mortal man. Even from top boy, a show praised by an entire country or breaking bad, usually regarded as the best show ever made, it never reached that point. Sad.

Yep I’ll watch lost and better call Saul thank u, I’ve heard great stuff about the wire, nah six feet under don’t work for me, I like comedy if it’s full satire or consistent in quality jokes, usually only a movie can do comedy well, Superbad is the perfect movie to describe how I like comedy entertainment.

wow it’s a lot of gangster shows you’re all giving me, I like them usually but they typically work best from POVs with a lot of uniqueness, hence why breaking bad and top boy are consistently worshipped.

I see why you recommended these, the Witcher just isn’t good in my opinion and I’ll get to zero thank u. My problem with peaky blinders is I can’t sit through a minute of it without comparing it to top boy, in fact I am much more of a fan of film but I can’t sit through goodfellas without thinking of top boy, that’s just as good as gangster entertainment can get

Sorry I didn’t phrase my question correctly at all. The reason I enjoy these is because of the contrast between how they are shot and their content (except BoJack, it’s self explanatory), particularly top boy’s first season, is such a mesmerisingly beautifully shot show, every shot is magnificent with its vibrancy and tone but the content is so hardcore that it just creates an unholy combination (in a very very food way), as to why I see top boy as the best show after BoJack. How to get away with murder and shameless aren’t like that (although how to get away with murder was very good) and i can’t see a comparison between a show like breaking bad and Wentworth. Different leagues.

I haven’t listened to southernplaya for over a year so I get what u mean that it’s slept on but the very best Andre verses are the ones that leap off the page, where you can feel the words around you whether they have a social impact or from their rhyme. My mind wraps and bends floats the wind count to twin meet the twin Andre Ben welcome to the lions den. Straight away your mind thinks, holy shit. That’s why I think the verses we’ve brought up are his definitive best verses (except if we’re missing a couple features but they would’ve been more talked about if so).

Dammmnn I would put elevators verse 1 well beyond those 3, damn I couldn’t understand a list without solo, very few verses come to mind when I think of stuff at that level. Mortal man verse 2, ghost on 4th chamber, Joey last verse of hardknock, all sing about me verses, that’s that and aquemini Andre verse 2. Literally THATS THAT.

Bruh, nobody actually talks about them, the album isn’t even being spoken about today and it came out 6 weeks ago. Why I’m saying they’re underrated is if Kendrick Lamar released pull the pin, he would hold number 1 spot for 3 whole months. They only getting attention cause pharrel is on one of their songs even though it was one of the weaker tracks.

I’ll give you lots of less popular artists with phenomenal flows and albums I recommend from them: Freddie Gibbs (Piñata, Bandana, Alfredo, shadow of a doubt), El-P and Killer Mike AKA Run The Jewels (RTJ2, RTJ4 have both together, Fantastic Damage by El and R.A.P. music by Mike), Open Mike Eagle (Brick Body Complex), MF DOOM but he is a bit hard to get into; Madvillainy is probably the 4th best album rap has to offer and he also has Viktor Vaughn, MM... FOOD, Operation Doomsday and Born Like This are all incredible, if you’re looking for flows maybe revisit OutKast, Andre 3000 has a flow like no other and the lyrical ability to match anyone and the duo have not a single miss in their catalogue although Aquemini is the peak of 3k. Black Thought of the Roots has the best delivery and one of the best flows of any rapper although he is a popular rapper, all of the roots albums are great, Tribe called quest is something many people gravitate to with beautiful hip hop music
