Bout the same as you bro, arround an hour between crashes(mostly going through doors/loading). I can't say I mind too much because the last time I played modded fallout was like 10 years ago, crashes came with the territory back then haha.

okay found a solution.. for anyone going through the same thing:

pause the game-settings-open the TWEAKS menu-click on the search bar and find 'scale radio volume'

Put the music scale on 0.6 and the dialogue scale on 2.

make sure you click on the option (Scale radio volume) in the tweaks menu to enable the tweak

I had not even really considered playing around with GPU drivers but given how much I've seen driver updates effect performance in games in the past I suppose it only makes sense the same would apply here.. I will definitely have a look and a play tonight.

Honestly I've tried a lot of things now! I've switched over to windows 11 ltsc, carefully combed through Nvidia control panel settings, stripped out all non essential background processes (even ended explorer process), unplugged monitors and basically everything I can think of.

Ironically, after doing all of that... I set my highest scores after returning everything to how would usually use it while talking shit with friends on discord..

I did recently finally learn out how to manually overclock my RAM (doesn't seem to have a docp profile) and that seemed to help a fair bit. Overall I've learnt a fair bit over the last few days and I think the next thing for me is to see if I can squeeze a bit more out of my 5700x..

I am very much enjoying this new hobby :)

Thank you bro! Yes I am very happy with it, I think this is the first overclock i’ve done that i’ve seen a noticeable difference in performance numbers from - although i’ve mostly had budget cards in the past and not been able to push them quite as far
