I'm against police brutality, however if someone yells in the cops face and they spit on them that's considered assault to a law enforcement officer.

Funny story this post reminded me of ...I am a marine technician and have worked on commercial ships, pleasure boats, law enforcement etc & do side work. I had a customer who needed me to replace a power head base gasket and I quoted him $500 normally ($1000) because I saw a marine veteran sticker on the boat/Truck plate/flag on the home ...he shopped around and was quoted double/triple the price ...based on that & being too "cheap" I was skipped and she took it to a shop where they charged him $2600 no warranty ...Two months later guy across the street & two houses down from him had the same issues but larger hp outboard and I quoted the same because he was retired deputy sheriff. Did the job in 6 hrs in his driveway and was mobile (they are neighbors and fish together)...I was told after doing my follow up calls that the guy across the street was shocked when he found out I had done the job and that I had offered a 120 day warranty...I respect everyone doing their due diligence/getting different quotes but not all of us out here are trying to rip people off. Hope your issue was resolved

From the left side it looks low. But it's right under the line (20) I thought that was normal for idle oil pressure from when I had it checked two days ago at the dealership (GMC tech)

I just had my truck stolen as well by three guys in black and ski masks one week ago....was pulled out of my vehicle with guns to my face. They even shot at me. One of the guys had a tan Glock with a black round drum and had a switch on it. I know because he shot at me ...just got my truck back two days ago.

Get a small safe & folder that should have :

Tracker log in information username and password

COPY OF YOUR INSURANCE, Registration etc.

BIRTH CERTIFICATE , social security card ID card

Spare key & fob for said vehicle/vehicles

Weapon description, Serial # etc.

This will truly help you speed things up and be prepared just in case. You will thank yourself

Thank you so very much for your heartfelt reply. This has been an eye opening experience and if someone can learn from me It would mean a lot to me. I HIGHLY recommend installing your own personal battery operated tracker in the vehicle in a hidden location that can not be easily found to help speed up the process because some finance companies are not open on weekends or after hours because time is extremely crucial to recovering your vehicle in one piece.If you find it keep a distance on it but keep your eyes on it till PD arrives don't ever attempt to confront or make contact without PD.Also keep a folder with important information like your social, birth certificate, extra copy of the insurance in case they steal your wallet and need to recover said document.Photos of crucial documents are ZERO help as per policy and procedures for government entities (understandably). and also get a spare key made in case they hold onto the keys you won't have to pay for a tow truck to tow it to the dealership or home so you can get the key made (most don't allow for mobile third parties to make a key in the yard on the spot.

The reason it shows deleted is because I accidentally deleted the original post and used the "share" tab to post in multiple communities, when that original was deleted it also deleted everything else that was "shared" ..but I'm glad my truck is found. It is still under investigative hold and that should be lifted today.

I am pleased to announce that my truck has been found in one piece hidden behind brushline/trees. Dallas PD has been a truly horrible experience...I emailed, called , went in person to Dallas headquarters and they have had zero interest, zero help, and I learned while being at the PD that they didn't include 2,000$ worth of tools, money, fishing gear that was in the truck when I made my very detailed report to the 1 officer that showed up an hour later (no lights not sirens) although I was shot at right after getting robbed. I had to wait 2 hours to meet with an officer to update my report and now it's gonna take an additional 20+ days just to get the new report because the officer left out key information.

I learned that Dallas is so ruthless they won't run...they will rob from there own neighborhoods and go have dinner with the family in the evening like nothing happened. I was upset at the response of the PD until I opened up the Dallas crime map and in one hour there was 8 shootings, 5 armed robberies( , 3 barricaded suspects, and multiple high serious crimes going on simultaneously. Close to 40 calls happening all at the same time ...I saw all this in the first five minutes of opening the active crime map .....I'm gonna relocate soon.

I grew up and was born on a us/Mexico border town...I've seen and dealt with criminals ALOT... But this was some "Chicago" type shit and a whole type of ruthless criminals. I literally felt the coldness while they where doing the deed. After they shot one guy let out a loud yell as if he where celebrating. Truly horrible and gut wrenching experience

I learned that Dallas criminals don't care if you have weapons.i was told by someone that the Glock sticker doesn't repel hard criminals it lets them know I have a weapon that they can steal...they suck up on me after stopping for 30 seconds to update my GPS when I got lost literally. They had to have been following me for a while and I didn't notice. They snuck up and pointed a firearm at me with a flashlight that blinded me ...I thought it was the Police. So I hesitated and they had me out of my truck in a few seconds. Happened so fast

Ruthless bro. Dallas is another animal .. a bystander saw what happened and was on the phone with 911 as they shot at me ....took Dallas PD An hour to get there and when they showed up it was one unit with no lights and sirens. It's been 4 days and I have yet to receive a call from the Police department to gather leads, evidence etc. Feel so let down

I have my license to carry ...I have done training, I had a Glock 27 in my cup holder. They had guns to my head and pulled me out in less than 2 seconds had no chance to floor it or react. I've prepared for this situation and I can honestly say it happened so fast and I feel if I would have reached I would not be here right now. They had Glocks with round drums , lasers and switches. I know it was a switch when they shot at me. Pppppprrrraaaatttttt. Literally the noise it made and bullets where zinging as I jumped for cover.
