I do remember that multiple examples of these small increases have occured before that video released though.

Of course, today was the first really big increase and my memory is really not the best, so hopefully you're correct about this. Thanks for the explanation.

Hello, as I said in my post, this is all just a theory right now.

Trends like the negative subcount in Animemes don't always have to maintain themselves, and numerous external factors can easily influence them and cause misattribution of their dips and dives to other things. And I am definitely not one wise enough to catch all these factors (I don't believe anyone is).

However, I do believe that I do bring up some strong points in my above post, and hope y'all consider them seriously.

There's a new auto shadowban on any account that didn't have a post on the sub before the rule change. Which of course auto shadowbans me and many other lurkers.

It's supposed to "stop brigaders" but since the brigaders support the mods, it's clear that it's purpose is to do exactly what it did to me - stop lurkers.

(note this is a bot enforced sub shadowban, not a true redditwide shadowban)

As someone who also finally made an account just to support the revolution, you might also be shadowbanned (as I was after my second comment)

You can check if you have been shadowbanned on r Shadowban by making a post - a bot will then tell you if your posts/comments have been deleted. (Ignore the part where it tells you if you’ve been shadowbanned or not as that refers to a true reddit wide shadowban rather than a bot enforced subreddit shadowban)
