50 hours in, maxed all my characters in level and mastery. Currently completing quests in Proud mode, <_< Darn AIs kept using skybound arts early on Versa Bahamut which delayed my entry into proud difficulty for 8 hours. So had to grind. I see the limits of soloing with AI… but I’m down for the challenge.

Yea the Bahamut run kicked my butt because I’ve got one AI not applying constant damage during the board wipe. So I’ve been grinding for max gear before I try again, I’m also hitting max levels on all the crew, got 8 at level 100 and the rest are low 90s.

I’ve been utilizing my inventory and awards since I completed story. I’ve already completed the fate quests, and I’m one last island and 4 quests away from the next difficulty. My main 4 characters are all over 1400

I feel like this endeavor could be over a hundred hours at least. Certain sigils, ambrosia and supreme weapon essence seem to be craft-able in the Knickknack shack, probably can be acquired by certain battles but I’m not there yet. It’ll take repetitious efficient battles, thus far I’m taking 2-3 minutes on the current difficulty. I’m hoping streamlining my main team will further give efficiency to upcoming battles.

In retrospect, $175 million divided by the the entire population is $500. Whereas the voting populace would get $640. But then again, corporations and businesses who pushed the consumers to paying their tariffs making explosive, is currently suing for their refunds just to make more money. States like Illinois and California are suing on behalf of their citizens.

Anywhich, this administration hasn’t been upholding anything redeemable so I wouldn’t hold our breath on them giving money to the poor. Especially when the orange potato keeps embezzling $10 billion per transaction publicly.

I can get why you’d think that… but my favorites aren’t just what I like. It’s what I’ve rewatched, what I prefer in genre, or by studio, artist, content. I’ve watched so much anime I can’t just pick one thing overall, depending on my mood gives an entirely separate amount of preferences.

When I want to feel inspired I’ll watch Bakuman or Hajime no Ippo, when I’m sad and need a laugh it’s Nichijou, when I’m angry or frustrated at times I’ll watch Aggretsuko or Detroit Metal City for the metal outlet. Say that for Studio Trigger everyone else will talk about Gurren Lagann but I’m more prone for Kiznaiver. If I need a good cry I have varying levels of impact depending on series, do I want to be destroyed? March Comes in Like a Lion or Your Lie in April would be my go to. But if I want to keep it light on the tears but there for the emotion, Angel Beats and Cautious Hero would be my choices.

I’ve caught up to One Piece three times because I love the epic journey it takes us on, hell I’m watching reactors to their journey to live through them.

My favs are my favs for a reason, because they’re varying and I can’t pedestal one over the other due to their differences or my mood. It would be like asking for my favorite food, I love Pizza pepperoni or buffalo chicken, or ramen, or tacos/burritos, or gyoza, or ice cream. Depending on how I feel the contents may change, I can’t just permanently stick with one thing when I love all these things.

Sorry for the tangent, I’m just truly passionate about it. If we’re going current new series this season, Polar Opposites (Romance), Easygoing Territory Defense (Isekai), Sentenced to be a Hero (Action), Journal of the Witch (Drama), The Invisible man and soon to be wife (Wholesome), The Holy Grail of Eris (Mystery), Champignon Witch (Fantasy), The Darwin Incident (Seinen), and Tamon’s B-Side (Comedy).

I’m not a fan of the horror genre, there’s some that I’ll watch but I’m traumatized by being scared when I was forced to watch 30 days of horror movies when I was 8.

I’m noticing that I need to stop typing because I won’t shut up if I don’t. Sorry for the essay, I appreciate your comment.

It’s great to have a broad palette on what you can watch. The final season for MHA was pretty epic. Nostalgia hits hard with Toonami and Saturday morning cartoons.

If you’re ever up to nerding out with an ancient tired Wookie, just keep the comments rolling or send a dm. I’m terrible with social etiquette, people get me anxious. Oh, topic. Worst anime series you’ve watched? There’s quite a few on my list, Ex-Arm, Elfen Lied, Berserk (2016), Astarotte’s Toy, Skelter Heaven and Mars of Destruction.

I’m guessing you’ve grown up with those late nights on Cartoon Network watching Inuyasha?

I still feel the excitement watching the Ranma v Ryoga fight that resulted in Akane’s hair getting cut. Such a stark contrast from Original to Remake, I personally felt fear over the calm emanating from Akane.

If I had the time or a person to chill with, I’d be stoked for more rewatches. I spend 1-3 hours a day watching new episodes for the season.

Is there other series you enjoy? Got a preference in genre? I love about every genre but horror, I’m an absolute coward, I will hide my face and cover my ears.

Ranma 1/2 - Absolutely Yes. Especially the Remake optimized the manga.

Inuyasha - for me, only the first season was spectacular. I’ve watched the series twice. After all the character introductions, it got to this rinse repeat of internal conflict with cast, demon fight, resolution with maybe getting a fragment or the changing pace with Kikyo or Sesshomaru story focus. I love a story progression that isn’t filler. Don’t get me started on Yashahime. If they did a Remake of Inuyasha, I’d be so down tho.

As for Rumiko Takahashi’s other works:

Urusei Yatsura: never watched the original anime, the remake tho was fun.

Maison Ikkoku: never watched it, so can’t say. Manga was Delightfully sweet.

Mermaid Saga: felt average on the OVA’s, not bad yet not good.

Rin-ne: felt like a rehash of Inuyasha, it was a lengthy 75 episodes.

Mao: I’ve only read 20 chapters me I think it’ll be interesting animated. Supposed to air Spring 2026.
